Gary Graff, Detroit Ted Nugent lit up VH1 this summer with the "Supergroup" reality show. But the Motor City Madman says not to expect to hear much more from Damnocracy, his 12-day collaboration with ex-Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, Antrhax's Scott Ian, Biohazard's Even Seinfeld and Jason Bonham.
"I would like to [do more with Damnocracy]; the musical element is very alluring.
"But I doubt it,"
Nugent tells Billboard.com. "I've got so much cool sh*t on. It's about the cool meter; like a TSA wand-er, I run my cool wand over everything, and only stuff that pegs the meter do I do. Even as good as the Damn Yankees are ... We got killer offers to record but, Jesus, when do you do that?"
Nugent says the coolest thing on his meter now is his own music, a set of songs that includes titles such as "Girl Scout Cookies," "Raisin' Hell," "Funk You" and "Bridge Over Troubled Daughters." He's already hatching plans to hit the studio with his current rhythm section -- bassist Barry Sparks and drummer Mick Brown -- with hopes of getting a new studio album out sooner rather than later.
"I am dedicated to, first and foremost, recording at least a dozen of my best new songs that are driving me wild," Nugent says. "I'm just in love with the new music. I hope to hell we can go in the studio next February and have the record ready to listen to by March so that it's out by the spring of '07."
Whenever it comes out, the album will be Nugent's first set of all-new material since 2002's "Craveman." He's currently on the North American leg of his Unleash the Beast tour, which wraps up Sept. 4 -- after which Nugent will spend the fall and early winter leading hunting expeditions in his native Michigan and other locales. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That really bites cause I swear if they did a studio CD it would debut at #1 the same day it came out........

"TAKE IT BACK" is such a killer song it disserves to be heard, I hope Sebastian adds it to his set list in the near future..............
I don't know if Ted really means not now but the Timing is so right Damnocracy (Super Group) is airing all a cross the planet...
The 2 other songs UltrAlive & Edge of the world are great songs but Take it Back is the stand out of the 3.................
Hearing it in just the clips of the show & on MY Space it just drives me Insane The Demos on CD with the Live show for DVD & CD
I just can't believe he can just walk away as if this was a Cheap Thrill?
It almost seem nuts not to pursue this group?

This article now indicates that Ted would be interested in Supergroup 2. This is getting confusing : www.oregonlive.com/music/oregonian/index.ssf?/base/entertainment/1156368346230480.xml&coll=7:• coming up - Ted Nugent at the Oregon State Fair Friday, August 25, 2006 ED CONDRAN Rocker Ted Nugent is as busy as he's ever been. The co-star of VH1's "SuperGroups" is on another jaunt. His Unleash the Beast Tour brings Nugent to the Oregon State Fair in Salem on Friday. And the Motor City Madman, as he's known, is featured in a new season of "Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild TV." Nugent, 57, loves to talk as much as he loves to play guitar. He believes that his pal Dubya isn't conservative enough, and though he trash-talks bleeding-heart bands like Green Day for their liberal politics, he's open to jamming with such rock royalty for a "SuperGroups 2." How did the supergroup thing go with your VH1 band, Damnocracy?
I had a lot of fun. . . . When we were doing Damn Yankees, I said to my manager, "Man, we got to film this." I knew it would make great TV.
I made one simple demand to VH1: I want real musicians. I don't care if they're weird, or stoned hippies. It worked. (Drummer) Jason (Bonham) is certainly a virtuoso. (Vocalist) Sebastian Bach is incredibly gifted and energized. I never heard of (Biohazard bassist) Evan Seinfeld, who is certainly gifted. (Anthrax guitarist) Scott Ian is stone-cold. . . . They're all a great bunch of guys. What do you think of your liberal peers? Green Day slammed your buddy Bush. I have an open mind about it. Green Day is historically and politically retarded. They talk like someone not aware of the world around them. When they play together, they're monsters. They're real players. It's a garage band, which is what I've always been in. . . . There is some killer-good music out there, whether it's Eminem, Kid Rock or the White Stripes. Green Day, Bruce Springsteen and P. Diddy's politics aren't in line with yours . . . Not only is it not in line with me, it's not in line with history. Do you realize the manifestation of total buffoonery which the Green Day boys embrace? Can you imagine in 2006 saying "war is not the answer"? Why are we free? Why celebrate Independence Day? Because we waged war on people who wanted to enslave us. . . . The terrorists think if you're not a Muslim, you should die. I want to wage war on that.

Right Ace, it sounded to me exactly the same: he wanted to make it with Green Day... that's why I reacted that way. I mean, I don't want to judge Green Day, I personally am NOT a fan that's all I'll say, with the respect of people who may be, but, if he once said he doesn't like them, and all those things he said about their music... I don't understand... he sells himself cheaply, for willing to work with people he obviously doesn't respect, just for a publicity, or whatever... And I agree with Mam, if he's not into Demnocracy... who cares, let them find someone who will be. If you ask me, it's Sebastian and Evan who are the most important

It is all 5. Yes other Guitarist could come in & help make grate music but Ted was there from day 1. IM not saying they could not make it without him that would be absurd. Yes there are other Great guitarist who could fall into the fold. But would they stay retro or go with a more Modern Ax slinger? Ace Frehley would be grate, but so would Paul Crook. Both have history with Baz ,Evan & Scott.

or they could go as a four piece supergroup. but impossible on some songs though. paul crook would be good but definitely would have to work around meatloaf's schedule. ace frehley would rule .

i would actually feel quite dissapointed if nothing happens with Damnocracy, coz the demo's are awesome and as evan said.. he could even see 'edge of the world' in the top end of the charts. It would be such a waste of time and talent doing the show and nothing materializes out of it

Too bad about Ted and that damn 'happy factor', guess you can't blame him ...
The fact someone enabled these guys to put Damnocracy together at all is Amazing - It actually happened!
what a great memory- and the music that was created IS awesome ...It was just all good- The Show, Baz, the music! [Someone really should record those songs somewhere to be distributed].. (Do you think Baz can put any of those songs into his headline shows?- ..yeah,... I know, that's just a dream I had)
{btw..does Ted know there is a group of 'skank turkey girls' on their way to his ranch for thanksgiving?- last I heard it included fluorescent paint and black lights- and lots of feathers of course {those were true waves of posts- really!} - I think it's a secret though }

Well, OK, but to tell you sincerilly, I watched this show ONLY because of Baz, so in light of that, I don't need anyone else on the show ;D I agree with you that Demnocracy is all five, but I really would not care at all for Demnocracy if Baz weren't there. That's why I said that he and Evan were the most important (I added Evan, because I got an impression out of the show that Baz functions well with him musically, but who knows what is 'reallity', now I kind of prefer Ian, rather that Evan). That's my oppinion, sorry if you disagree <<<And I agree with Mam, if he's not into Demnocracy... who cares, let them find someone who will be. While Ted was there from day 1,He is also the reason there is no Damnocracy & that sucks! Sebastian,Scott & Evan are the core of this group. Jason is a cool drummer but I think he is putting Foreigner first. It would be cool if Ted was willing to do this but since he is not ,I say make a Super Group CD with out him. Jerry Cantral ,Zack Wylde,Paul Crook,Metal Mike Damnocracy is such a cool Name & Super Group was a Great Idea would have been a Better show had they showed more music,THE FULL LIVE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I just saw Flavor of Love come out on DVD & my stomach sank I thought what why not SUPER GROUP!

Damnocracy isnt Damnocracy without Uncle Ted. Just like Skid Row isnt the real skids without baz, or Zeppelin aint zeppelin without bonham, and the who arent the who without Moon.
First and foremost Baz is what lured me to supergroup! Although I know of Jason, from being the god of thunders son, as well as his solo album "Bonham" which I liked alot back in the day, and Ted well, I know of him mostly of his stuff back in the 70's, Scott I knew from Anthrax and love some of his stuff with that band. Evan was the new face for me other than watching him in OZ.
Bottom Line I would always listen to somthing Baz is in on, so with or without Ted Id be a fan of SuperGroup(notice I didnt say Damnocracy)
Most of the time sound/style come from the chemistry created by the rythum in this case Scott, Evan, Ted, and because Baz isnt just a singer in the sense of what he brings to the table(heart, along with talent) HE actually is like another part of the rythum, and lead simular to another instrument.
If you were to take one part away from this combo you would change the chemistry therfore the end result would vary from the original project. You could replace Ted possablly and have his part done by someone else, but ID bet all my money that when it came time to write again youd get somthing very different in the end from what we got from Damnocracy.
Dont believe me look at Baz's solo STuff, Skids were the Skids(when he was with them), Last hard men-very different, Bring em Bach-Very different from both. And now were looking forward to angel down!
Cant wait till the Jonny B's headliner!!!!
What ya's think?

That is why I don't like Ted at all: he talked so many bad things about Green Day, which I don't disagree with, but I do not completelly agree neither, anyway, after all that he said, when money come to the story, he very soon forgot what he was talking. And now he's willing to play with them! I agree with Baz: "I either love you, or I am like - f*** you!", excuse me for swearing

After hearing Baz on WCC , Ted & Jason don't want to be a part of Damnocracy. But Sebastian,Scott & Evan should not let that hold them back.
Reach out with the Name DAMNOCRACY & TAKE IT BACK!
Sebastian Bach, Lead & Backing Vocals Scott Not Ian, Guitar & Backing Vocals Evan Seinfeld,Bass guitar,Lead & Backing Vocals.
Now I think Vinny Paul would be awesome on the drums & the next Super group show could have Some Pantera songs in the Set.
Jerry Cantrell & or Zack Wylde for Lead Guitar. I say 3 Guitars Bass Drums & Baz
Now thats a Super Group show on the road & recording. They could record new songs & tribute to there Past.
I wish the Live show from Damnocracy would come out on DVD & CD,With the 3 Demo songs I say the CD would Debut #1 on
Billboard.
