Auckland, New Zealand, Vector arena 29th June.
Sebastian was easily the best performer of the night. His stage presence and singing abilities eclipsed the other performers.
Everything from his entrance, his easy affinity with the crowd and his ability to get people excited were just amazing. He had endless energy and really knew what he was doing up there on stage. He was looking wonderfully fit and dead sexy.
He was the highlight of the show. I came to see Guns N Roses, and left only remembering Sebastian Bach!
The sound wasn't so hot, not sure if it was the arena itself but often it was hard to hear the voices over the guitars as the sound really smeared and echoed. But all in all it was the best night I've had in years and years.
Dude, you rocked Auckland! I hope you come back again.

auckland nz was amazing my dream came true and i met sebastian ....what an awesome guy he is VERY tall VERY good looking and VERY casual ....i met all the band members from gnr and sebastians band except for axl....it was the best concert ever my pic with sebastian is on my space from leanne*^*

would agree what a honey he is. I also met sebastian on the sat night show good to see a rocker with big hair not big head. awsome also hope he comes back to do a concert of his own, dont get me wrong gnr rocked but sebastian and his group were awsome

Had to laugh at this one have been reading reviews of GNR from NZ newspapers and found this oneI have waited 14 years for Axl and his band to return. I rocked with him, as he and the crowd belted out the lyrics from his best songs. I had no idea who Sebastian Bach was at first, however his distinctive voice helped me realise he was Gill from the Gilmore Girls. He was awesome, a fabulous act to hear before the one and only Axl. The night was fabulous, the cannons awesome (we could feel the heat of them from our seats). We could see Axl backstage, and Sebastian yelling at the sound crew. We could see every detail of their clothes, guitars, etc. An amazing night, worth the 14 year wait! Hi everyone,
if he didn't do a meet and greet, can I ask how you guys managed to meet him? I followed Pearl Jam back to their hotel and waited for Eddie but gave up at about 3.30 in the morning. Any other tips from anyone who has managed to meet Sebastian (or anyone else for that matter).

how i got to meet the worlds most powerful man ,was all in the power of positive thought my friends....i wished & my wish was granted,i prayed & my prayers were answered, i hoped,i wanted,i dreamt and my dream came true....also i had a BIG slice of good luck & my guardian angel* by my side*....my pic is on my myspace page at myspace .com / magiclea .....

As far as I know the guys didn't do meet and greets during this tour. I have been a Sebastian fan since 1988 and have only had the pleasure of meeting him for the first time two weeks ago in Brisbane and Sydney. The guys have what you might call an after show party, and to get inside you need an after show pass, or a VIP pass,I begged and pleaded to all security and road crew until I was blessed enough to be given one. This was my first concert I have ever been to so I don't know if these parties always happen though, but there is no harm in asking. I was told to get a pass it's who you know, but in my case I didn't know anyone, I went alone which might have helped. Just a tip if you ever meet Baz, treat him like you would a good friend, and don't be overcrowding. Being with Baz n Axl made me realise how so many people want a piece of them, there only human, and need some space sometimes too. Never give up hope because Baz will be bach!!!!

I think we need more direct exits and entries out here - at Acer Arena they drive in and out of the building so there is no direct access for fans - it is such a pain in the *^%. But, I've got to say, I am a long time Gunners and Skid Row fan... I wasn't surprised how friendly Baz was cause you kind of expect it given the fact that he does do meet and greets (even though he didn't this time) but was really surprised how friendly Axl was. |
