I couldn't bring myself to post them all, as I hope one day he'll have his life back together and if he saw them I think he'd be upset with me a bit. He wouldn't want people to know, but I only want to help him. |

i think it's great trying to help him and i hope one day you succeed but as i've learned you have to want to help yourself no matter if you have any army behind you. i have a dear dear friend who was once homeless and he is no doing good and has his own place so it can happen.
keep hope my friend is proof it can happen.

And you are very right. The past has proven this thusfar. I guess I feel that with his medical conditions it makes it harder for him than if it was the alcohol alone (not that the alcohol alone is minor), and needs to know how to monitor and handle all his illnesses. He found out he had these things only a few years ago and no one ever helped him know how to handle them. So, if I could find a way to get him help, I think his chances would be better. May be false hope, but I believe it still. As of today, Patrick is with my mom. I just got word. So, I'm sending as much support his way as possible right now. If anyone feels like writing anything, I'll gladly pass it along. Thanks so much for everything thusfar everyone. |
