HELP! Do I go to the Bach show at Dudley JB's?? I want to more than anything else, but I have an A-level exam 2 days after the show (they are the last exams I have to take, and depending on my performance in them will determine which University I go to for the Americans who don't know what they are ) and its over 100 miles away I don't really want to be stranded in Birmingham all night if I miss the last train and as such fail my exam.... What do you think I should do? Phil

What do you think I should do? Phil go to the show and bring your book with you to study on the train. Just take the first train going back home and sleep on train if your able to. It still leaves a whole day to study for your exams for the test the next day. if you really can't do that.. just go to the show in italy in july. michele

Thanks for your advice! ;D i would of said go to bang your head or the bloodstock festival but i think one of them is the same day as your tests right? stay the night at a hotel so you don't have to hang in the train station till it's time to go.. michele

Josh I'm thinking this may be the way forward. Don't know when he will come back across the pond so I may as well make the most of it! I considered that Michelle, but it's the same problem, plus the Bloodstock is in the middle of nowhere so I guess it is this or nothing! ;D Thanks for your help!! Phil

What do you think I should do? Phil I would go to the show. You might be able to cram a little bit more knowledge into your head in two days, but I don't think it's likely. Also if you don't go, you might spend the two days before wishing you had. The adreneline high from the show could carry over through your test too. A very irresponsible MOM

I 've taken loads of photo's of gigs at Jb's , Hanoi , Pussycat, LA Guns, Love/hate etc , so you will have no problem there!!
I would offer you a bit of advice though!!, never say you are in Birmingham when you are in Dudley, the natives really hate that, trust me , I am one of them so I do know!!

Definitely go to the show! Just study study study before you go. I'm not a train studier, so I would totally leave the book at home (would panic if I lost it - and I would probably lose it! LOL). Been in the same boat when I went to grad school and wanted to go to b'way and rock shows that Baz was in.
Have a great time... rock out! And rest up!

I didn't do too well in the exam I took after the Baz concert - I got a B Overall though I got ABBB which is good enough to send me to Manchester University (which I wanted to go to) so yay!
