Gilmore movie coming?
Dialogue-heavy drama Gilmore Girls recently wrapped up for good in the US after seven seasons, but that doesn't necessarily mean fans have seen the last of its quirky characters.
According to TV Guide magazine, Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is interested in producing a two-hour telemovie that wraps up all the series' loose ends.
Sherman-Palladino long maintained that she always knew how Gilmore Girls would end, even saying she knew what the final four words of the series would be. However, she left the drama at the end of its sixth season, meaning her grand plan was never put into effect.
The cast's reaction to the movie was mixed: Scott Patterson, who played the romantic lead, told TV Guide he "would seriously consider it", while Alexis Bledel, who starred as Rory Gilmore, said it would depend on how she feels about the series in the future.
Lauren Graham, who played Lorelai Gilmore, said she would do the telemovie "just to get the four final words out of Amy". "They torture me," she quipped.
If her plan comes to fruition, Sherman-Palladino reportedly hopes the movie will premiere in 2008 or '09. In the meantime she will be working on her new series The Return of Jezebel James, starring Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose.
Don't know how true it is But I found it here
