I just posted this on the general mayhem board before I realized there was an upcoming shows section. So let me try again.
I'm trying to work out a trip from Chicago to the New York area to see both of Sebastian's shows. I was wondering if someone could tell me which tickets would be best at Mulcahy's?
Ticketmaster gives you three choices: 1. Cabaret seating with cocktail service 2. 1st five rows 3. General Admission/ Standing Room
Any suggestions? Thanks.

hey wanted to let you know that if you go to the web site for mulcahys you can take a virtual tour and judge for youself but from what i understand they are going to section off the front for people who paid the 35 dollar price to be up front the rest of the area is open but if you pay 50 you get a table and a waitress and maybe get to hang out with him that is how i undersatnd it from the web site........ i got the 35 dollar tickets and i am driving over from ohio and was wanting to do the same thing and buy tickets for NJ and stop there friday on my way to long island ....... sara

Thanks for the reply! I have checked out the website but it's still hard to tell the actual set-up. I did send them an e-mail, but if they don't respond soon I may just give them a call to make sure.
I think I've convinced my sister and her friend to fly up from Georgia and meet me there. If we make the trip we are headed to Mulcahy's for sure, I'm still trying to talk her into the Stone Pony show. I can only stay for the weekend so she thinks I should spend more time seeing NYC since I've never been there. I keep trying to explain to her that the only reason I'm making the trip in the first place is so I can see Sebastian and two shows are better than one!
Thanks! -Sarah

ok, imo this whole "roping off the front" thing is not go ing to work. in a crowd for a rock show, some dumb valet ropes are just going to get in the way, and the metal thingies that hold them are going down. or maybe they'll use like a gate type thing. either way i think it's a BAD idea. just make it a flat 20 for everyone... first come, first serve... if you make it to a table good for you... if you are at the front i guess your quick. period. :/

;D I saw a few rock shows where they roped off the few front rows.. it was CHOICE. I saw Y & T like that a couple years ago. I'll be at the Mulcahy's show.. I can't wait. Saw Baz last year in Poughkeepsie... he's amazing.

Hi Everyone, I am in the band HOLLOW that is opening for Sebastian at Mulcahy's. If you want to avoid the $4.00 ticketmaster surcharge or the "day of the show" higher prices, e-mail me at justin@justinmasters.com for $15.00general admission tix. I've never seen the velvet rope or cabarat treatment done at Mulcahy's but it IS definately happening for this show. Justin/HOLLOW www.myspace.com/hollownyc

Which site? I looked at Mulcahy's.. .couldn't find what you were referring to. But I will say.. I was in the first 3 rows last year standing.. all night and it was worth it. If those $50 tickets are a good distance back... the only reason I'd buy them is to be able to take a picture with Baz and have him sign something for me. Wonder how we can get info? Will Baz be doing a meet and greet after the show? Rebel

I ended up getting the $35 ones.. I'd rather be in the front row all night.. then to be seated in the back at a table with the "off chance" of meeting Baz. From what I've learned on this board, Baz usually does a meet and greet... so I figured our $35 (first 5 row) tickets were the best option. Of course.. we're going to be buying our Baz/Twisted Sister Tickets this week...I'm STOKED We'll have to all meet up.. to have a Baz toast or something! Agent
