I was surfing on the net and I found this interview. Maybe some of you have seen it but I got so angry that I had to write about it here.  One of my favourite songs of Skid Row is Wasted Time. And Rachel's comment to that song: Wasted Time – The biggest piece of shit we ever recorded. I think he's just jealous to Sebastian... it's got something to do with that. He's making himself a big ass!! |

He's making himself a big ass!! Yes I remember this interview. I think it kind of goes back & fourth Baz kind of Dissed Can't Stand the Heartache which was one of Rachel's songs. The fact that they (the Skidz) did not include this song on the greatest hit CD shows they were not putting out a Greatest Hits CD just another one. There is allot of Bad Blood between them but under neath it all they all know there is Magic When Sebastian,Snake, Rachel,Rob & Scotti are on the same stage,in a Studio or Rocking a Subhuman Race crowd of gone but not forgotten Generation of YOUTH GONE WILD! Back to Rachel I think he hides behind an image more than anything else it's the hole to Punk to like a Ballad. This is the same guy who said I remember you was not worth putting on the 1st Disk. He is entitled to his own opinion. even if is out right LoCo |

It can't be good to harvest this kind of hate for someone, after all the time that has past. I will always LOVE the original lineup of SR, but my heart lies with Seb, for he is the most talented in my opinion, the one willing to try new things, and with as much passion as he had at 17-18 with the skids!

He should be nothing but proud of it.

i don't know...i thought it was a good honest interview...i just laugh when everyone responds, "he's a loser, he's pathetic, blah blah blah..." 2 sides to every story, just cuz his is the side that most peeps here disagree with, doesn't mean he's any of the above comments...just means he has his "side" of it and baz has his...it sounds to mean like both sides are over each other, and have happily gone seperate paths from each other...i've heard all these comments made about ALL the other members of skidz, and i just laugh cuz everyone loved them when the band was together, alot of peeps want a re-union...and then, when they read a blunt honest interview...that guy's an @sshole...i just gotta laugh at that way of thinking... let the bashing begin  |

Maybe you guys are going to laugh at me but the music business is a bitch and is he not hiding behind a facade ? There is a french song that say somethinhg like " if you are not a bitch in this job people think you're a jester"
Trying to appear a bitch is maybe a way for people to remember theother they have teeth....It's sad I know.
Even in France where the groups are few and not always good (there are good too, If you want to listen, just ask me, I'll more than happy to make you listen) the members of said group are firing onto each others during interviews and on any occasions, even the smallest. And don't get caught in the middle...
It sounds sometimes they play at " who's the biggest asshole"...
The question then is : does he really mean what he said ?
Well you know the guy better than I do of course...And you are probably right.
I agree that WASTED TIME is really a fuckin good song. It's deep and moving...it's a call ! I like it a lot !
One question : may I use this interview on "my" site " and I' ll tell you what the comments are ? I know most of us like Wasted time a lot as I do ?

It's really sad cause they all ROCKED! Char Very Well said! The truest fact is when they came out we were fans of them all. The fact that they could not find common ground is what has separated many of the fans. It seems that Rachel & Snake felt they were the only 2 who should write the songs. Sebastian wanted & did contribute to what he felt was his band as well. It does suck because they were a great Team. Skid Row was Bach,Bolan,Sabo,Hill & Affuso. What ever happen to 5 Punks Prayers to make it as 1? |

I love the energy and the lyrics of wasted time. But i dont particularly like amount of guitar sustain used in the chorus(sounds like something that scorpions would do).. otherwise its a good song.

Without dissing the new Skid Row.. I have to ask a few questions here. 1. What do they sound like now? They can't even cover their own songs and have it sound good. 2. Anyone who only heard Baz singing that song (even if they couldn't understand the words) would realize how awesome HE makes that song. 3. The words and the voice combined make this a VERY powerful song. I don't see that quality of work coming out of Skid Row now. But Baz continues to produce awesome work. 4. He didn't think " I remember you" was worth putting on the album? What does that tell you? It tells me that Baz knows music. He feels it. That is why his songs are so damn awesome. He can make US feel it. No one can do that with those old Skid songs.. or any new ones for that matter. Thank God for Sebastian Bach!
