for immediate release: SEBASTIAN BACH NAMED THE SEASON TWO WINNER OF "GONE COUNTRY" BY HOST JOHN RICH Bach's Single, "Battle with the Bottle," Being Shipped to Country Radio Now The Video for Bach's Single, Directed by Wayne Isham, Available Now via CMT.com and World Premieres on CMT on Saturday, September 27 NASHVILLE – September 26, 2008 – Host John Rich tapped rocker Sebastian Bach as the winner of the second season of CMT's hit series, GONE COUNTRY, in tonight's season finale. Bach is set to immediately release "Battle with the Bottle" to radio, the song he penned with Nashville songwriters Jeffrey Steele and Vicky McGehee while taping the series. The song is produced by John Rich. The accompanying video, directed by Wayne Isham, is currently available on CMT.com and will debut on CMT on Saturday, September 27. Bach, who edged out tough competition from fellow GONE COUNTRY contestants Mikalah Gordon, Jermaine Jackson, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lorenzo Lamas and Sean Young, performed his song before a live audience at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon in the show's finale. In the end, Rich dubbed Bach the winner because of his ability to connect to his audience and his lyrics, something that is essential in country music. "Sebastian put his real life experiences into his song," says host, Rich. "'Battle with the Bottle' deals with the challenges he faces in his life on a daily basis, and when your music imitates your life, that's where great country music happens. He truly understands what makes a great country song, and his singing ability is still off the charts. I'm very proud of him 'going country'!" Bach, perhaps best known as the former front-man of Skid Row, is an accomplished Broadway actor and television personality. ..luv this show....thought last yr's was great and hysterical but this yr was def even better.....
..a unique blend of talent..
..glad to see Sebastian as the winner...
. .woke up yesterday to seeing the new vid/single.....def see this one climbing/tearing up the charts......

Yeah i have seen the one on Utube but still..would be nice to get to see the video...
I was thinking that it was ony available in the US( i live in Sweden) but obviously that isn't the case.
Hopefully they make it work soon.

Hey Sebastian, I would like to say how inspiring that video is. i have an older brother who is an alcoholic with pancreatitis and a diabetic.He went to AA meetings for a while and my parents were glad that he did,but he quit going to meetings and I cant keep money in my purse neither can my mom cause he steals it so he can drink. Or he borrows from his friends . I think if he saw your video he would be reall inspired to quit. I think its awesome and im so glad you Won. Congratulations!!!!!!

;D Sebastian, I would like to thank you for making such an inspirational video. My brother is 40 years old and an alcoholic and has been for years. He has gone to AA and met a few friends but he goes back to the bottle. I think he is having his own battle with not only the bottle but the beer can to. He has pancreatitus and he drinks to get the pain to go away. But i would like to say that if he sees your video maybe he will get inspired to stop too.
