Aawww!! - - - - No fun Baz! (Just joking) Hey, here's a thought. Maybe if we keep guessing and get some of them right, you could leave them up and just delete the ones that are wrong. See how good we are!

Is this for real?? Is he really going to do it? I hope its not a pipedream, I hope its for real! I love both country and rock/metal... and a country album by Baz would be stellar! Ecstatic! ::Hopes real hard::

It was a blast hahaha... felt like a kid doing it but hey! it's fun to watch people And, I was competing against the blaring songs of Snoop Dog and Kurupt everywhere. Felt like a regular competition. Guess that's what motivated me. Driving along hearing all those Kurupst songs blaring as I was driving around the city blocks.. so I said "well, you got that? I got THIS!" "ANGEL DOWN!!!!!! AMERICAaaan!!! METAL HEAaaad!! ".. ;D (what can I say... I did it and it was fun) what a day...

Owen has been known to crank either Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphy to counteract all the regae out here.

I hope it's soon! Maybe he'll do some touring with it after it's released... I just can't wait to buy the CD itself..
On a serious note I am thrilled he's chosen the country genre to expand his vocal experiences even further.. I feel that Baz has discovered that you don't have to be born in Nashville.. or Atlanta, or Alabama to have 'country' in your soul... Country's not a geographical location it's a down to earth feeling.. I think Baz's country ability will SHINE right next to Charlie Daniels Band, Hank Williams Jr., Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard .. There is NOTHING that Baz can't do and do it with an exciting finesse!

hey all...i am new here...i have to say that bas definately made the right move going to country. sebastian still has a great voice..even better than when he ruled the rock world with slave to the grind. i have read recently that his music was used on some guys you tube channel without permission. sebastian got mad...people, he has every right to get mad. you tube, all these other crap websites are just the same thing as napster and limewire. this is considered stealing music. if you have a great pair of speakers hooked to your computer, you can go to youtube and listen to any song you want...why would you buy the album? bas hit the nail on the head when he said " why would anyone want to be in a band anymore?" i used to be a musician trying to make it...and just got frustrated because i realized that now it is harder for musicians that truly love what they are doing to make a living making music...and it was then that i completely stopped downloading music. whats the fun in having an ipod, when you cant open it up like a cd or vinyl record and look at the lyrics, pics or who wrote what song, who produced it, ect...on a lighter note...id like to say that im glad to be here with some true bach fans and look forward to posting and hearing from you all.

The clip does sound fucking sweet. But i cant say i'm stoked about the idea of Baz going country, even though he releasing a new rock one too. I think he should just focus on one album at a time!!!(The rock one!)

Welcome fuzzy! I too was shocked the very first time I saw Baz perform country on "Gone Country 2"... but he did it with such class that I quickly was able to dig it....and that new country CD sounds great so far, from the set list on this MB! I read here on the boards that he's trying to release a country CD + another rock CD this year, so there should be some of Baz's music to please everyone

I think he should just focus on one album at a time!!!(The rock one!) think about the energy and creativity he's got.. example, he wrote 3 songs for Gone CountryII (what was that? 2-3 days and he's got 3 songs? ~nice) Not sure of the process myself, but I'm pretty sure he's said in an interview not too long ago he's got material just waiting. Here is a clip of an interview he did for Gone Country talking about his process: "... part of my process as a songwriter and a singer is I am always recording my demos — like when I write a song, I immediately make a very crude mp3 of it to play in my iPod just so I can listen back and see if I like it or not...." so probably a matter of pulling all that together, getting the right people and musicians together for what he wants? Hey! he's a busy guy! Wait till you hear the Country album. I'll bet you wont be disappointed *

And why not? Baz can sing and perform the hell out of anything. What's so cool is that Baz has no comfort zone--he'll tackle anything that comes his way. More power to him!
