Just picking up on a post I put up on another thread....has anyone seen the "Classic Albums" series of documentries on the "best" albums of all time and how they were all put together? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classic_AlbumsIt really is a fascinating series if you are into that kind of stuff....my favorite is definately the Def Leppard - Hysteria one. 5 Years to record the album, and just the stories the Band tells about how Rick Allen had to leard to play drums with 1 arm after his accident, and the reaction of the Band when he called them into the room he had spent the last couple of years in everyday, practicing and learning to do it while the band left him alone and continued with the album, and he played to them for the first time....its an AMAZING story, certainly brought a tear to my eye im not ashamed to admit.... Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast is a great one as well, Bob Marley and the Wailers was another interesting one....anyway just thought id throw it in here to see if anyone else has seen these.

I haven't seen it yet but Rick Allen's story has always touched my heart. When Def Leppard and Taylor Swift did cross roads on CMT a while back my kids asked me why he only had one arm. I think Rick is an example that you really can do anything you set your mind too.
P.S. I LOVE Meatloaf as well!

I wonder if these movies are on DVD? I guess I am going to be looking for some more movies now.

Def Leppard is one of my fave bands it takes such courage to go through something so tragic and turn it into such an inspiration to people. Meatloaf is AWESOME!! Okay I admit it I just love music.

You're right it is called Crossroads. They pair someone from Rock music and someone from country. That was a good concert. Other good ones were Wynonna and Heart, Brooks& Dunn and ZZ Top. If you really like Taylor just keep watching CMT. They play her videos constantly. Also you could go to CMT web site and join her board.

Birth of a Child--- All Apologies- Nirvana

Oh and BTW, Ive fallen in love with a few albums.
Piece Of Mind- Maiden
Dr Feelgood- Motley Crue
SkidRow- SkidRow
Guns N Roses-Use Your Illusion 2

The Long Road was such a great album for the fact that Nickelback was still rockin. They have gone very mainstream since then, and even though The Long Road shows "hints" of change in there style, there are some real good tunes on there.

Wildhorse I can see why a lot of people would enjoy country. It's a lot like rock n roll with a twist, well modern country is anyway. Aussi Girl glad to see we agree with the albums! I find on those cd's that there are sooooo many un discovered "jems" and I love nearly every song on each of those disks. Any Queensryche fans out there? Geoff Tate is another great singer in my mind.. I heard him Rob Halford from Judas Priest and Bruce Dickenson from Iron Maiden were supposed to be making some sort of album together. This was a while back, so I dont know if it's still in the process of going down or if they dropped it all together. Only thing that could make that CD better is Sebastian on it As for DL im not much of a fan. I like some of there tunes, but I find them a little bit too " pop " for me. Rick Allen has over come a lot of adversity along with the whole band. That's real loyality when they could have just dumped him on the street. Funny story, when they came to Winnipeg ( this is prior to me even being born ) Rick Allen tried to pick up my mom. LOL she didn't know it was Rick Allen until the next morning when she saw it on the news that Rick was at the same bar. My mom thought it was just a one armed man buying her a round.

Hi Cody so glad to see you hanging out!! I'm I think a very fortunate person. I love music, all kinds there literally probably isn't a genre that I don't like some of the songs. I do think its extremely fun to talk music with other people. I've always been facinated with why certain people like certain music. Nickleback is one I love dearly, Queensryche rocks, Geoff Tate is one seriously talented vocalist. I could go on and on. LOL

Something I think that suprised me when I was watching Crossroads was that she is really starting to come into her own. Like you can tell that she is getting used to the male attention if you get my drift. She's a very nice girl and very down to earth. I really do admire her talent she does write most all of her music. I'm not a huge fan of her but I do listen to her music. I think I'm still young enough that i can chuckle at my own antics in high school as I hear her singing about what she has been up to. I also have a daughter who lives and breathes Taylor and Miley Cyrus. Some of you are thinking ICK this is the same daughter that will sing along to Sebastian all day long. LOL

Since this is anything goes, I have to post this. I nearly fell off my chair laughing.
My neighbor is out in the yard slightly drunk. He is singing at the top of his lungs. Well he had on the Stones, Sympathy For The Devil. His sister came out of the house with her two kids. Her two year old loves to sing. You have to picture an adorable blond haired, girly girl. Joining in with her uncle singing the OO-OO's in perfect harmony with her uncle. I wished I had a video camera. It was tooooo cute.

bachfan20....... i just read the quote underneath your posts which i hadn't paid too much attention before i guess but that is really cool. **The voice of an angel with a face the amazes the mind and make the blood flow. A heart as pure as gold with a spirit that can not be quenched. A presence that is undeniable and a person you would never want to forget.....that is Sebastian Bach and I'm a fan forever.** i like that! jojo

I don't think the age difference would be a problem, but the couple of continents in between you might be. LIES !! i already added her to my facebook blablabla page. and made the first contact and in 1-2 years, i will be off to work in holywood as a sound engineer/director so i might work in her future possible movie or video i planned it all honey dont worry ;D also, if she replies to my message i will say; "i see your face every time i dream on every page, every magazine so wild so free so far from me you're all i want, my fantasy" yes, thats my ultimate plan. WARNING: kids, this is NOT how you get a girl to like you. dont try this never ever. only your uncle baran is retarded enough to try this stupid cheesy way to seduce a girl who looks like an angel and way out of his league. and baz, if you know her in person, tell her to call me
