You are worthy. You can PLAY music, I never could learn. You also forget that I have about 25 years on you, and I lived in NY. In the city, it is not a matter of if someone is playing, it is who's playing where, though in recent months metal and hard rock shows have become less frequent. I do have one regret, although I have seen all 4 Beatles as solo artists, I never did get to see the Beatles as a group. I was 13 and my mother wouldn't let me go, even though I had the ticket money and a way to get there. Obviously, I still tell the story, and that is why when my 2 daughters started wanting to go to shows, I tried never to say NO. I used to look like some kind of Rocknroll girlscout troop. I would always have my girls and at least 2 friends each with me at shows. Their friends are the ones who gave me my screenname, long before the internet was even common. I had the same thing with my Mum and Dad but it was with Poison had the tickets and all I did ask she said no so I organised a sleep over at a friends place night of concert ... and we where gonna sneek out deal with the trouble later... but 2-3 days before concert... My little brother dobbed on me  and so I got caught so no concert for me.  Now I have my own kids kinda understand why they would not let me go But when my boys are old enough I plan on going to the concerts with them... Some brothers are like that  _ mine was. Since this thread has started, we have had newbies. I want to start a new topic on this thread. Lets talk about our favorite foods.
What is your favorite.....
Junk food....ice cream flavor....candy....any other favorite thing you want to add.
My favorite junk food is mini corn dogs and hubby's is White Castle burgers.
My favorite ice cream is Blue Bells Banana Pudding. (I know too cold to think about.
My favorite candy is Reese's Peanut Butter cups and pieces. Hubby's is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
My favorite cereal is Corn Pops. Hubby likes Fruity Peebles.
Let's keep this thread going again.

Drink - BEER (however im on a health kick and am totally OFF all forms of Alcohol since Jan 10 and staying off until my Birthday on Feb 26)

Favorite food : Anything Andrew Zimmern does not eat (you know, he's the guy who eats piranah, eggs with legs, frogs, and lamb (yeach.. can't type that) Favorite junk Food : Fritos Favorite Drink : Coke w Rum Favorite ice cream : anything Ben & Jerry's Favorite cereal: Cocoa Puffs Fresh caught seafood is my favorite overall food. And home made icecream (fresh ingredients) beats all hands down (haven't had that since the last Family Reunion ) |

Reading Kat's post mentioning seafood makes me want to go to the bandstand on the seafront at Whitby in North Yorkshire and eat a tub of cockles, swimming in vinegar and with lots of salt. Yum yum yum! ;D

Favorite drink would be rum and coke or white zinvendale(not spelled right) wine.
Over all favorite food for me would be pasta and all kinds of seafood. I love Chinese food.
favorite non alcoholic beverage is coffee, tea and juice. I don't drink much soft drinks.

They are a traditional English Seaside delicacy. served boiled then cooled, with vinegar. If you've ever heard the irish song 'Molly Malone', she goes through the streets 'crying "cockles and mussels alive alive-o"'! Are they the same as cronkles? I've never heard of them! |

Cronkles are attached to rocks. They're pulled off and boiled in shell. The shell looks sort of like a small twisted shell conch. the meat looks somewhat like a snail(not as slimy) and is kind of rubbery. Yum yum. Delicious!

In the past year he's surprised alot with his different tastes in music (besides rock and metal of course), like Phoebe Snow, Neil Young, Steve Perry(old Journey), and of course country. But if the music is good, he'll listen to it, (or own it.  And he has turned me on to different artists too. He has great taste as well as eclectic in music. |

I was turned on to Sebastian by my husband. He is a big rock fan, where I am a huge country fan. Sebastian is different. Now I have some Sebastian songs in my MP3 player. He is along side Toby Keith, Alabama, Carrie Underwood, for starters. Adding more I hope either tonight or tomorrow night. |

I have always known about this board because of my husband. He is a HUGE fan of Sebastians. He never joined it though. I just am a HUGE country fan that I never bothered with this board. I listened to some of what he sang. Liked his singing. It wasn't until Angel Down came out that I started listening to him more. Than he went on Gone Country 2. I never missed an episode. My husband would record it for me to watch. (I work on Friday nights ) Now I can say that I am a big fan of Sebastian's. Favorite season: Spring and Summer Favorite color: purple Favorite movie: anything drama or comedy. Favorite sport: depends on the mood. Football and baseball mostly Favorite activity: internet surfing and listening to music. Light gambling. Ebay shopping as well as department store shopping. I also like playing computer games. |

JUNK food - Inflated burgers!!! Indian cuisine -- Biriyani and paneer(I don't know if there are any indian restaurants in Melbourne, coz i plan to relocate there ) Sweet -- haven't got a sweet tooth but i enjoy the occasional truffle pastry) Alcohol --- where are those Jack Daniels and drought beers when u need them?? wanna own me a wine cellar and drown in it ;D With my kinda eating habits, i'd probably die of a cardiac arrest before 40. ;D |

Favourite food: lasagne, tuna steak Fave drink: Sprite, and with alcohol: DRY apple cider, dark beer and right now I'd like to have a glass of red wine, salmiak Koskenkorva (could say it's like salmiak vodka), gin tonic. You can guess that I've been without alcohol for long time now?
