I'd love, love, love to hear him do the other Willie Nelson song he sang on GC2 as well -- "You Are Always on my Mind". The little bit we heard of it was superb. Beautiful.

I think so, Im hoping this show will offer so form of an update,I have that feeling JR is going to be the Producer/Guitar/backing vocals,Jeff Guitar/back vocals Bobby on the drums & Rob on bass. Not sure if Johnny or Mike are in on this project but 1 can only hope they are in some way. This is no doubt an adventure for Baz testing the waters,breaking new ground. I was watching the live version of Battle with the bottle & Vicky was singing back up so I hope she is on the record to like a huge 10 piece band ((*_*)). |

Counting down the new record cool! Okay so Ace explain to the new girl (me) what on earth the set list is for? *blushes* sorry I really do want to know. Well when Angel Down was coming out we all wanted to know,what the new songs where & Baz was on tour so new song would pop up & I would add them. Baz also gave us a ton of updates ,I WISH we where getting those now lol We know Battle with the bottle & Jumping off the wagon have been recorded & the new song (Long way to go) not really sure if that is the name of it. But IM just trying to present a rough drat of what may or may not be. Also Baz Rocked out to both W. Nelson song on GC2 & many of us feel those songs would be great if Baz sang them. Now that where talking about cover songs I think it would be "AWESOME" If Baz recorded "Hotel California" for this project,there was a snip of him doing that on Absence of empathy in the beginning of Human Grain. Always' & Never the same is at the end of the Forever Wild DVD in demo form.I love that song & think it would fit this project. The opening words Think you got it figured out? You think you know me. Baz also Co wrote that with Nashville natives who where members of his BT5 era. Now that he is recording or ad least recording the demo songs there ,it's almost full circle. So there it is in a nut shell. |

I love Tribute/Cover songs. Some bands shy away from this but the great ones know fans just love hearing the twist of there "favorite" artist brings it to a new light. IM glad artist like Sebastian,Guns n Roses & Metallica do tributes,they know "WE" love them as much as they do. |
