oh well! thanks don for speaking what we all been feelin:). Wonder what poor old rachel will say about this.... Maybe it'll make him realise it just isn't right without Baz. What that realisation would lead to... who knows! The problem is, other musicians can play the music, but there is only one Baz. It is still very sad - there was magic in that band - but sometimes things just aren't meant to last. |

I don't like to see Skid Row going on without Sebastian, but who this guy thinks he is to talk about Skid Row? he talks crap about his former guitarist and criticize another band for playing with other singer?
I don't think Rachel need this genius to realise how important Baz is, I thinks he already knows it, he just can't admit it.
I really hope Rachel kicks this guy's ass. He should look at home before talking about other bands.

I have read these comments a million times from fans. Now his beef with George is not new those 2 have had a love hate relationship since Don ate George's Peanut butter (Old Story) |

Peanut Butter?! Wars have surely been fought over less!  Personally, I'm put off by the 'new' SR by the fact that (as far as I can tell - I spent a half hour comparing a few songs) Johnny S sings in a lower register than Baz. His voice just isn't as powerful, either. That's not to say I think he's a bad singer, per se - he just isn't our man Sebastian! It's like listening to Queen with Paul Rogers - my brain wants to hear Freddie's voice, and it jarrs me a little when I hear someone else singing his tunes. I almost wish Rachel and the others would quit playing the 'old' SR songs, and fully embrace their new direction, rather than try (and, I'm sorry to say, fail) to reproduce the magic from before with a singer other than Sebastian. I think that's really what I meant by hoping Rachel would realise it's just not right without Baz. Mind you, I don't think Baz needs Rachel - he's doing well enough anyway!  |
