I don't want to change places, but you are more than welcome to try. Maybe you need "Scotty" to beam you over here.

Is weather in NY about the same as in Washington? I watched Obama live last night and Finnish commentator said that weather is about the same as it's here now. Not bad. Now it's here about only -1c which is much warmer than we usually have in winter. We are used to cold. Our houses and cars are different for an example from Great Britain and Germany. In windows douple/triple glasses and and cars have better heaters etc. And when you build a house, you have to have much "wool" in the walls etc. And fireplaces are very common here and those keep the warm about two days. So if you're not prepared to winter it can be too freaking cold!! I don't doubt that at all. Right now I don't miss summer because of this pregnancy. If it's too hot I feel SO sick. So this weather here suits me fine .

We are in a heat wave to its around 20 F here, I love winter but I don't like when its so cold you can't send the kids out to play. Then they get cranky, but the weather is looking up here a bit so we should ge some outside time.

Flew from Chicago back and forth, I remember those cold snowy winters. Car never would start at the airport, had to always travel with can of spray to get it started and unfreeze the locks. Full face coverage or your face would freeze. yup . .. brrrrr

I'll trade 1 snowstorm for 2 sunny days. I'll give you 2 sunny days if I could. I don't want the snowstorm in return though. LOL
