Hey all I just joined this forum. I went to the GNR concert last night in Sydney (first concert) and just have to say Sebastian Bach was absolutely unreal. I have never seen him live before but heard he was great to see live. And wow the man should have his own tour going. He really has a great stage presence and the crowd really loved him. He is so full of energy. I actually think he got the crowd going more then Axl and thats hard to say cause I am a massive Gunners fan and love the new GNR. Seb sang all the great Skid Row kind of hits. Monkey Business was huge. He started with Slave to the grind. That was great. Played other songs like I will remember you and also got the fans to get out there mobile phones and record and told us to do it for a "you tube moment". Unfortunately my phone sucks so not great quality at all. 18 and life is unbelievable and so was Youth Gone Wild. The crowd just went nuts for Seb. He played a few new songs. I am not sure what they are called but one was like a ballad and that was great. A lot of fans were singing along to his new songs as well. But overall Seb was really awesome and in my opinion has the best stage presence I have ever seen. Great night all around. Rose Tatto were great then Seb was even better then Gunners well that was a dream come true to hear them live. After seeing Seb last night I thought I would come to his website and see whats happening and noticed no one on the forums have posted about the concert so I thought I would join and give a little review. Thanks!

Baz kicked arse, thought he was the best of the 3 bands on the night. I was more pumped about rose tattoo but i was disapointed, gunners, rose was good but alas it will never never guns 'n' roses untill the original line up comes back in my view. Baz blew my brother and I away with his set, raw mad man live, total control of stage and crowd. alas the axl rose experiance was not what i expected.

Welcome to the Board Azza! And great review. Thanks We didn't think we'd get one from Sydney, as you can see, so this was a nice surprise to see up here. (Correction: just re-read a few things - sorry Hellyeah ) And you've definitely come to the right place to find out more about Sebastian and what he's been doing!! This Board should keep you busy for hours catching up LOL

Yes welcome to the board Azza and macross, New Baz fans Yay, hopefully we can gather enough of them to make him hit our shores again, I know very greedy.
I am so glad you enjoyed the concert and yes Baz is amazing watching him live is unbelievable, I too am a gunners fan but Baz was very hard to top wasn't he, mind you Axl still knows how to Move and Sing, but Baz was the Highlight for me too

Hi Everyone, I am a Sebastianbach.com virgin!!!!! Well, I went to the Sydney show on Sunday night and it absolutely ROCKED!!!! I couldn't believe it. Baz just sounded awesome and that SCREAM!! No one can scream like Baz.
I was seated to the right of the stage, and he came over to that end to sing "I Remember You". I get chills down my back every time I hear that song, I love it so much. Anyway, I thought, f*ck this, I am going down there, I was about 11 seats up from the edge of the stage and had a really good view. I ran down to the railing, and there was Baz, standing on a speaker singing - 1 METRE FROM ME.
He saw me and bent down, and sang I REMEMBER YOU to me (well just one chorus), but that was enough to make my legs go jelly.
Thank you Baz for making my night, I walked back up to my seat in absolute awe, shaking and crying, I couldn't believe it.
I AM STILL ON A HIGH!!!!
Thank you for coming to Oz and remembering us!!!! I wish it wasn't over.

Released in 2005, "Frameshift 2- Absence of Empathy" was voted one of 'Metal Edge' Magazine's top CD's for that year. (the making of the Album was a collaborative effort - I'll just leave it at that) You can find it by clicking here: www.sebastianbach.com/stuff.htmlSebastian is killer on this album. EVERY freakin'g song is awesome!! You have to have this CD, seriously it ROCKS!!(loved your story btw ;D - being that close to Baz, and you can't help but catch the 'energy high'.!!!! )

Hi everyone,
Another new member of the board but very long time fan of Sebastian - I saw Bas at Eastern Creek in 1993 and at Selinas last year (so ecstatic to finally hear him do Youth Gone Wild again!)
Sebastian was absolutely awesome at the Gunners show. I had a friend come with me who didn't really know who he was and she was amazed at his talent and ability to get the crowd going. I was actually going to take my six year old son to the concert because he loves Sebastian (who could we possibly find better than Sebastian for his first concert) but because of the 2am finish decided against it.
I just hope when he comes next time (hopefully soon) he does an instore again!

Hi natto,
I was at the Saturday night gig. I desperately wanted to go back for Sunday but couldn't afford to. Would have been awesome to have sebastian sing to you though - I would go hysterical (almost did anyway - people were looking at me like I was an idiot when Sebastian came on because I was screaming and carrying on!)
By the way, (don't know if anyone has already said this but...) is it just me or does Baz's guitarist look like the biker dude from the Police Academy movies (Zed)?
SEBASTIAN ROCKS - COME BACK AGAIN SOON!

TOO TRUE!!!! awesome to read the syd reviews, wish i had gone i was going to go to the final australian gig on sunday but flights were ridiculous and coz of work, i couldn't find a flight that would get me there in time for bach's set! i would have missed the 1st 1/2 an hr next time he's here we're goin' around the country to EVERY show bach plays ... bring it!!! anyone on here go to the sunday show?

Oh forgot to add.. Ducked outside before the concert to have a smoke and there getting out of his tarago was Baz!!!!! SO there I was standing on a balcony with a cigerette in one hand jumper in the other fumbling madly for my phone to grab a piccy... in between fumbling I apparently looked a little like a fish with my mouth opening but no sound coming out apart from a sound that apparently resembled a cat being ran over... I have a great shot of his tarago but none of Baz.. he just moved to fast!! Bugger! Next time stand still while I put the smoke down please
