Now my biggest wish is to get there.
I've got the tickets BUT I've just spent three days in hospital with our baby because of breathing difficulties, asthma propably. Now at home with medicines but if something goes wrong it's ambulance and off we go again....
I'm keeping my toes and fingers crossed that everything is fine now.
I'll listen to interview later. Cool pix. Just checking this place quick.

Last nite we had to go back to hospital and dr ordered more drugs and gave spira. Happy to be at home now. Had a little discussion with hubby and I'm still going to my rock marathon. I'll start it today. I think I'll start drinking red wine pretty soon and listening to ANGEL DOWN BY SEBASTIAN BACH! Santa's sooner here than usually and he's wearing leather pants and Oh my... he looks gorgeous!! ;D Sebastian Bach in Espoo Barona Areena with Alice Cooper! It felt so good to write that sentence. I can't wait to hear some excellent rock and roll music!! To hear Sebastian Bach! Best fucking day in this year!

Oh wow what a weekend!!! Dreams totally came true... Well, I started to get ready for the evening, do my hair and my make up and oh God I was sooo nervous! My hands were shaking and my stomach was totally full of butterflies =D Funny how a grown up adult can feel like a teenager... Oh well, we got to Caribia about 40 minutes before the doors opened, had to be sure to get to the front row We got there and I was amazed that there wasn´t any "safety space" there so we were standing attached to the stage - awesome!! I knew this was going to be something so unbelievable!!! After 1,5 hours of standing there, warm up band started to play and damn they were great! I had seen them earlier this autumn so I knew it was gonna be good rock ´n roll! A perfect start for this awesome evening =) They played about 40 minutes (?) and then I got so nervous because I knew what was about to come. I´d see Baz there just in front of me rocking like a maniac, oh maaaaaaan... My legs were shaking and I was so anxious! And then, some sounds started and band members came to the stage on at a time. I was screaming already then but then I saw Baz waiting there in stairs - oh wow he looked amazing! Smiling there and waiting to get to the stage. And I just stared at him and I felt so good. No nervous anymore, just feeling these great vibes! Now it was rock´n roll time! Band started playing and then Baz came to the stage and holy shit the crowd went nuts! They started with Bach in the saddle and it took only few seconds and Baz was standing just in front of me!! Of course I crabbed his foot =D He stood there and sang and then he started to mosh and his sweat was in my face =D The gig was awesome - only minus was that in our place, Baz´s voice couldn´t be heard well since we were standing so close and guitar was playing too loud =/ Too bad but that was fixed later and the voice was little better but not enough =( In the end of show there was also Michael Monroe on stage and man he´s crazy!! They sang together this "Taxi driver" and it was so good to see they both enjoyed it so much!! Fan and fan were jamming together =D It was little scary in the end of song when Mike took the mic stand and started to wave it around and finally smashed it. Rock on \,,/ And so, last song started, "Youth gone wild" and crowd was so rocking!!!!!! I´m sure Baz will remember this crowd, it was so awesome. Between the songs crowd was shouting hey-hey-hey´s several times and we could see Baz was so impressed. There was certainly much feelings going on there. In Baz and in crowd. Perfect. And that was it, band got away and lights went on. I was just so happy of the gig and at the same time sad because it was over. We stood there some time, in our places and it was worth it - I got Bobby´s and Johnny´s autographs and my husband took a pic of me and Johnny. Cool!! We had a little chat with these guys but then we had to leave since we didin´t have passes. I got so sad and almost crying since I wanted so badly to meet Baz. Once in a lifetime chance since he was here in our home town. But there was nothing to do so we went away. In the hallway we saw Nick and of course I went to him and got autograph. I asked if Baz was coming there and he said "I don´t know, he´s in the shower now". Ok, we waited there a while and then Rob came. Aurograph from him too =) And I asked again if Baz was coming here. His answer was "Well, he has to come this way to get to his room". Awesome!! That was my chance to see Baz! My husband was very hungry and tired and having a little bad mood and I could see in his eyes that he would have wanted to go home. I said to him that you can go but I´ll wait even ´til the morning but I want too meet Baz. My husband stayed there with me and we waited and waited and waited and waited.. Other people were coming there but not Baz =( And then - after waiting almost 2 hours - door opened and there came Baz!!! I got up from my chair and I was just mumbling ohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshit all the way I walked towards Baz =D. I was happy and nervous at the same time and then we met and I asked his autograph. First he passed me BUT stopped right away and put his stuff there in table. He gave his autograph and same time asked me "How did you like the gig?" Oh wow - Baz is talking to ME =) I couldn´t say anything else but "Awesome". I was so stuck and shaking all over about this situation that I´ve been waiting for years and years. Then he gave the paper to me and he hugged me <3 <3 <3 My number one idol HUGGED ME!!! I was in seventh heaven and feeling so strongly to that situation. Then I asked him if I could get a photo with him - sure! He took me in his arms and showed thumbs up and my husband took the photo of us. Too bad I only had cellphone camera but better that than no camera at all. Then Baz had a handshake with my husband and he said "You were in the front row and you knew the songs - I like that"! Oh wow!!! Well, that was it and they went to their rooms and Baz said to us "Seeya!" They were gone and I was just standing there with my autographs and photos. And feeling great - my dreams came true, finally!! Still shaking but now with more happiness, not nervous anymore. We got outside and I yelled a little scream there =D We went home but I couldn´t sleep at all, just thinking about the night and everything that happened =) Next morning I was so tired but I started to think that I would want to go to Tampere tonight since Baz is playing there this evening. My husband wasn´t that exited first but I said to him that I will go there- with or without you. And after few hours - we were driving together to Tampere =D. We would have got to front row but we were standing about 5 meters of the stage - we wanted to hear "the voice" this time. And we did - gig was awesome!!! And Baz`s voice <3 <3 <3 Perrrrrrfect! There wasn´t that much crowd in Tampere than in Turku but it was still awesome! After the show I bought a t-shirt, a "souvenir" of this weekend to remember my whole life =) Hope to see Baz again here in Finland - I´m sure some day it´s gonna happen!! PS. Last but not least - nice to meet you Papillon =)

Johku was laughing my head off at you waiting back stage with your husband... I could just imagined it... I would be the same but do not think my husband would be as patient as yours LOL One thing that Johku76 forgot to mention is that I've been Baz fan through my whole life. So even though I was hungry like hell and my blood sugar level was at my toes, it was obvious that we will wait for Baz. If I would have been alone I would have not waited - but knowing how important it was for my wife, no questions about it And oh boy how glad I am that we waited! I usually can manage quite well with my English, but when Bach commented about me being on the front and rememebering all the lyrics, I felt like a baby - a big, hairy, ugly guy trying to form even one word - it was impossible. I don't remember when I've been so damn nervous I cannot praise enough how cool guy Baz is. Damn, I hope that Johku76 and I have the chance to meet agn with Baz someday! All of you waiting for the upcoming Baz gig - be excited, it will be a blast and your necks will be almost numb next morning ;D There wasn't even a single thing to say about the gig: It was so good you that you'll spend the next week realizing it. Cheers to Papillon, was nice to meet you. EDIT: Reading through Papillon78's gig "reviews" from Tampere and Turku, I just realized how damn impolite I was not mentioning rest of the Baz group. I had a chance to change few words with Bobby and Johnny. We also met Nich and Rob shortly. They are all really fine polite gentlemen. I am really happy that we had the chance to meet the guys and really hope that we will meet again!

I tried last nite but was way too tired and too energetic at the same time. There's no many occations when I feel like I AM almost speechless. That's ONLY because the guys were so AWESOME!! And thank you everyone! You are so sweet! Baby is better now but can't say good. I have keep on controlling her condition pretty much and give her medicines about which she surprisingly doesn't like. I definitely needed some rock and roll in my life.

Happy New Year 2010! Baz added this interview on his Myspace etc some time ago. It is in Finnish www.sue.fi/haastattelut/sebastian-bachBut hey, now I have translated it just for you guys! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sebastian Bach, who is coming to Finland on December 2009, is on the saddle with guts Skid Row’s first album from 1989 is one of the best hard rock albums released at 80’s. All the metal men didn’t like Skid Row because singer Sebastian Bach (born 1968) was better looking (got all the women) than the women who never looked at the metal men. The debut and Slave to the Grind (1991) sold millions and for some years a poster of Sebastian Bach was on every teenager’s wall. Then came hard times for hard rock and Bach left Skid Row at the end of 90’s. He kept on creating new music as a solo artist and in different projects but he disappeared from the map of mainstream rock. Sebastian Bach’s show at Sauna Open Air in Tampere (summer 2008) was a big surprise for many people. That same show is also special for Sebastian Bach. When he talks about it, you don’t need to spare exclamation marks. - That show will remain as one of greatest shows in my solo career. That was my first big gig in Finland as a solo artist and we kicked ass! I sang as good as I can and the crowd went nuts! That was a magical moment of rock! - Yeah and in December I’m coming to Finland with Alice Cooper and I also have my own headline shows! I am super excited. After Finland’s shows we have four shows in Italy and guess what happens after that?! We are going to tour with Guns N’ Roses! Fuck, think about that! I’m playing in my hometown Toronto with Axl! - That’s great. Have you done new songs to your next album? - I’ve got a lot of songs. My manager likes them and that’s a great sign. And hey, even better sign is that I like those songs! But I don’t have any ballads. What is that kind of Sebastian Bach album where no any ballad?! - What kind of an album are you going to do? - It will be heavy but in different way than my latest album Angel Down (2007). Metal Mike is no longer as a guitarist so there will be less songs like American Metalhead. I have been working with John 5, Jamie Jasta from Hatebreed and my band’s new guitarist Nick Sterling. Nick is really young guy but he’s an awesome player! GOOD BAD PRESENT Lively talking Sebastian Bach is an anitype of a reckless hard rocker and it’s hard to imagine him to be else than a frontman of a band. During the 21 century he has done lots of other stuff. Bach has been in four leading roles for Broadway musicals and he has been on tv. He was an actor in Gilmore Girls for a long time and he has also been in VH1 channel’s programs. - Music doesn’t pay bills, Bach explains. Like every musician knows, by selling cds you don’t get money. Tv made me an offer of which I couldn’t turn down. I have to buy my family food! I’ve got three kids and education for them costs. They call it work, dude! Didn’t you earn money with Skid Row’s first two album so well that you don’t need to work anymore? - No. I still get money from Skid Row’s records and I’ll get for the rest of my life but people don’t buy records anymore. Besides you buy an album only once. Nowadays you don’t buy it even once, people get it from net for free. That’s pretty much a problem for professional musicians. - Is it a problem? Oh fuck! People don’t understand that rock doesn’t exist anymore! That guy from the White Stripes was right when he said that we musicians are a little like carpenters who don’t have a job anymore. I can do tours and release albums but however I have to be on tv because of money. I’ve heard about more austere fates, but I understand your point. - Yeah, I don’t care. I’ve never imagined that I’d be a big star so I always prepare for worst. Anyhow I make albums because music is not only work it’s a game. I want to be creative and do music as much as I have time. Technology is not a bad thing. I can walk down to the basement and record an album by computer or make great songs with a dude whom I haven’t ever met! MP3s to e-mail! BAD BOY WITH SONS Sebastian Bach highlights that even it is hard times, music is still most important thing in the world. He describes himself as a rocker who is searching for new albums to listen to. - I don’t understand people who listen to same old albums and keeps telling me “go back to Skid Row, 80’s, retro, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Freebird”. - Also old bands who only releases live records and collections and remastered old songs are pissing me off. When I was a little kid and I rode a bike I dreamt about next album of KISS. What kind of sound, cover, name of the new songs? What kind of clothes are they wearing? You are interested in future. Even so you play also Skid Row’s classics at your gigs. How does it feel to sing 18 & Life year 2009? - Those songs are dear songs. Always I rather sing songs from my new album though. Those songs describe that what I am as a singer now. I have a good voice for my age. I think I will sing for the rest of my life. Do you take good care of your voice? - Not specially, it’s strongest part of me. I open my voice every time before I begin to sing. It keeps your voice strong. If I don’t do it I can sing loud but not so clean. Are your kids interested in playing some instruments? - My oldest son plays drums. Before he never played my or Skid Row’s songs! I told him many times to practise that goddamn Youth Gone Wild, but no! Then he heard that I’m soon going to tour with Guns N’ Roses! Astonished he asked “dad, are you serious?!” Now “…get a Piece of Me” can be heard really often from his room. What kind of music does your boy listen to? - Immortal, Black metal, Death metal. Most evil heavy! Once I entered my son’s room and thought, “hmm, what does he listen to nowadays?” I took an album from the shelf and the band was called Cannibal Corpse and they had a song called Entrails Ripped from a Virgin’s Cunt! - I asked son what the hell is this. Son said back “Is Mr Youth Gone Wild going to dictate me what I can listen to?” I would never appoint them what they can listen to! I listened to Anvil’s Butter-Bust Jerky again and again. It was as bad but in different way. Some of us are even harder than hard times. Papillon78 Thank you for posting.
I have to wonder if Baz is not planning on putting out the country CD anytime soon why not put Battle with the bottle on the CD?
It would be AWESOME if instead of 2 CDS he made them 1 avoid the segregation
IMO take the best songs even if they where to be on 2 CD's (Double Album)
I like the tunes that have been in the live set I wish he would "Rock out with Jumping off the wagon That song would so Rock out with the rest Nick & Johnny could add some twisted solos
I hope sooner then later ;D

You are welcome! I read yesterday somewhere maybe FB or Twitter that he's got one ballad now which was written by Nick Sterling. So don't worry! I loved that Mr Youth Gone Wild part. Paris Rrocks!! Hilarious! It's a bit different when we listen to English (even when we understand it) it's not same when it's in your mother language. It comes more to your face. My parents don't understand English so I listened to whatever I wanted. ;D Laughed at them at the same time, suckers! This one is dedicated to you...

More you deny something, more they want it. I'll share a little secret with you. I'm not a big fan of opera, been there twice. Second time I went there only because I knew there was free food and alcohol, our firm's party. Those sopranos and mezzosopranos - they are killing me. I hate it. But if Baz was there (without those ladies) I'd love it. I love his singing. My point here is that I'm not going to tell my kids that I don't like opera (or jazz aaarrgggghhh!!!!). If they knew it they would propably begin listening to those with their grandma when they are teenagers.

My kids used to listen to whatever they wanted to. The joke in our house was that if it had a parental guidance sticker, that mom bought it for us. LOL Well aren't you a star. It was the same in our household too with my kids and yes, I'd go to the Skid Row, Bon Jovi, Motely Crue concerts etc with them too. I'm not suggesting parental bans on their kids musical tastes here. I'm just saying that if a son of mine was listening to Cannibal Corpse and music of that ilk I'd be worried and have some serious questions for him about what's going on in his head.

I agree about the questions. I used the music as as starting point for conversation. At the time my 14 year old daughter's favorite song was It's So Easy by GNR. I'm sure you know it has the disturbing lyric "Turn around bitch, I"ve got a use for you, You/ve got nothing better to do, besides I'm bored" Great example of how not to talk to a young girl. I asked her what she would say if someone talked to her that way. She blushed and said she wouldn't say anything, but she would give the guy a good hard kick in the BALLS. After that I "Let" her listen to whatever she wanted. But I did stay aware of what she was hearing, and we had a lot of conversations about "Did you hear what he just said?"
