Take a look at this guys!!! Sebastian saved the day at the Rose Bar!! From the New York Post.......... "Chaos was narrowly averted at an intimate Guns N' Roses concert when a man with a knife was tackled by ex-Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach. The mystery man casually pulled out what appeared to be a switchblade knife as he walked into the packed and uber-exclusive "Nur Khan's Rose Bar Sessions" at the Gramercy Park Hotel on Sunday. But Bach, who was standing near the door, immediately got the stranger thrown out of the bash, which was attended by a host of stars including Mickey Rourke. A witness reports, "The man walked in while Guns N' Roses was onstage and pulled out a knife and flicked the blade out. Sebastian, who was standing on a banquette said: 'Nobody is getting anywhere near my man Axl Rose with a knife,' and went after him. Security then immediately threw him out. The man appeared to be drunk. It was dealt with so quickly that none of the other guests or the band were aware of it." Axl Rose The private Valentine's Day concert was the hottest ticket in town, with a handpicked crowd including the Strokes' Fabrizio Moretti and Albert Hammond Jr., Ryan Phillippe, Zoe Kravitz, Josh Lucas, Yigal Azrouel and Sophia Bush, who all packed into the Rose Bar for the DeLeon Tequila-sponsored first of Khan's series of intimate concerts. Guns N' Roses played for two hours for 150 guests, finishing up at 3 a.m. before moving the party upstairs with a group of model and rocker friends until 6 a.m. When earlier asked by The Post's Brian Niemietz if long metal hair will come back in fashion, Bach said, "If it does, people better start now because it takes seven [bleep]ing years to get it this length." Flaunting his golden locks, Bach added, "And this isn't some Jessica [bleep]ing Simpson hair extensions -- this is the real deal." A rep for the Rose Bar declined to comment." There's something about this that really bothers me. No where in the article was there a mention of the guy being arrested. It just said that security threw him out of the club. I'm glad Baz was able to disarm him, and no one was injured, but the guy should have been arrested. Since when is it not a criminal offence to draw a weapon in a crowd?

I've been wondering why there were no arrests too! The only conclusions I could come up with is that a: as it was invite only maybe the knife weilder was a 'somebody' and security or Rose Bar decided to protect their reputation. I know that sounds totally insane but it's no secret that famous people often have all sorts of things covered up. As there was no damage done (thanks to Sebastian!!) & nobody who was there is confirming the story's credibility nobody is liable. And b: maybe the Rose Bar was concerned about losing business if people feel unsafe there and considering no damage was done & again nobody's confirmed the facts it opens the possibility that maybe it was a fabrication anyway. I hope at least they do improve there security regardless! But it amazes me the lengths people will go to when buisness is involved. Especially the business of entertainment. Or maybe it didn't quite play out the way it's been reported.....?

Sebastians loyalty and instincts for bravery are so admirable! Besides his unquestionable AWESOME musical talents I've always found myself inspired by his fighting spirit for truth & justice & the freedom to just be himself regardless of the backlash it risks! And the fact that he can still maintain a sense of humour (re the hair jokes) even though his own safety had just been threatend is so cool. I'm so happy to see the amount of support and kudos he's getting for it - about 90% of an 8 page thread on The GNR Forum and all sorts of other sites and links. He totally deserves all the positive feedback & any other positive support considering how much effort he puts into pepping people up & supporting the people he cares about!!!!

Baz is great! I would have liked to see their faces, Sebastian's and this knife man's when he sees who's coming after him! If it's a secret party and everyone (I guess) is only invited. Don't they still have security guys at the doors to check people? This is so creepy and it reminds of Dimebag. RIP. Baz has lost his dear friend because of same kind of lunatic. Mightymouse: You are welcome to the board! Don't have a clue why your post was taken down but don't mind, just keep on posting! I'm not into these kudos or whatever. Would be nicer if people wrote you what wasn't correct or something like that. BTW: Long time no see! (or just feels like it lol) I've been watching the Olympics. Yesterday icehockey FIN-BLR and now I'm pretty sure when I continue watching more I'll get a heart attack... I take it way too serious and personally and most of the broadcasts come during the nite here when kids are sleeping... Mama screaming, yelling and swearing.

Thanks Papillon78! It's nice to know you're accepted for your good (or bad in some people's eyes) self! My record for this year so far is 2 deletions, one smite & one exalt! Not bad for a Newbie ;D Lucky you getting to see Sebastian again!!! So happy for you! Looks like us Aussies will have to wait until the next album is out. But it's great that the Baz community tries to keep us all up to date with his adventures! That's why I like lurking here! Posting can be dangerous ;D

My record for this year so far is 2 deletions, one smite & one exalt! Not bad for a Newbie ;D Ha ha.......that's quite some record mightymouse1!!!!!!! Good for you......you've made an impression here. I actually saw those two posts of your's that were deleted and can't see that they broke any rules either, but maybe it gets back to that 'cultural differences' thing again. But pleeaase keep posting. I'm with Papillon78 on this one. As you've probably noticed, there's quite a few of us here who enjoy a good read and a cool sense of humour. And I, for one, think you made quite a few good points. In fact I was thinking the same thing myself as to why that idiot with the knife was not 'named and shamed' by being handed over to the police. He must have been someone who is 'someone' ( ) to have gotten an invitation in the first place. But.....oh well.......at least two of our favourite men are safe and well, thanks to Sebastian's courageous instincts. Thanks for coming out of 'lurkdom' to post on this thread.

Appreciate knowing your point of view and glad to hear I didn't offend everyone. And like you said thank God both Axl and Sebastian are safe! Wish they could both rock the same stage forever but I love anything they both put out! I must admit I was joking about posting can be dangerous but it's obviously not without repercussions sometimes. Everybody should be able to express their opinion whether it's in agreement or not. I've since found out how I did cause offence & will make sure I'm more thoughtful about explaining myself better in future. Communication is very important to me but has also been a bit of challenge in having the guts to get it out there. The last few years I've become alot more comfortable with it though and now enjoy the challenge. I really appreciate the feedback though. I figure if we can all understand and try to accept peoples differences the world will be better off. I'm a bit of a hippy that way! I'm going on holidays for couple of weeks so won't be posting but look forward to coming back (& out of lurkdom ) and enjoying a community of Baz loving peoples and sharing thoughts, experiences and all things Sebastian!

So all's well that ends well. I'm happy for you that getting some feedback here ended up making you happy in the end and you want to come back. Maybe it's because you are so honest that it's been "a bit of challenge in having the guts to get it out there". Someone else made the comment here recently that the board "is what it is"......the inference clearly being in the message "if you don't like it, leave". Judging by mightymouse's experience here and the way it was resolved, I'm hoping it means the board is becoming more than what it is/was and more will want to come back. It can only mean more good energy going Sebastian's way.

I know that I'm pretty sarcastic (can't help ). I hadn't thought about it before but some weeks ago I heard that (many, some?) people in States thinks that sarcasm is rude. (not here, on tv) Do you people think so? Co worker thought I was kidding when I told people a year ago that I was pregnant. Hubby has asked me if I can ever talk without sarcasm. If it's rude then I have a huge problem!! Now I'm laughing. ;D ;D Baz is really sarcastic and I luv it!!

Sarcasm is my middle name I think. My whole family is sarcastic but I can see sometimes it being taken the wrong way, especially when you are writing something. Sometimes people just don't know how to take me. There needs to be some kind of sarcasm font or something. That would be cool.
