I think the arrival time has changed and I cant get out there now anyway DAMNIT fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck i'm soooo pissed off, i missed baz at the airport  dogface, you were misinformed! the arrival time DID NOT change! it was infact 3:30, he was walking towards baggage collection at precisely 3:39pm aest! i didn't go to the airport either coz i read your post on here but whoever told you the flight was changed LIED! |

Hey Everyone....i'm new here..had never been to the official site despite being a fan...but I..logged onto this site to see if there was info about what time he is due on stage tomorrow for the show... .and found this thread...so really lucked out....cos I got to meet baz thanks to the legends that posted the arrival time.
Anyway the arrival time did change. The flight scheduled to land at 3.30pm was cancelled (according to the tv screen at the airport - i have no idea why)...so I went to the 4.00pm arrival and just prayed....and low and behold Baz came through the glass door!!
He was VERY nice to us fans, (myself and 2 other guys that were there) and I must say VERY cool in real life.
He has a real presence about him...like a rockstar vibe kinda...yet he is still very down to earth..not at all a poser..just naturally cool. anyway he stoped and chatted to us for a few mins, signed my CDs and stuff.
Can't wait for the show tonight!

I should also add I got to meet the rest of the band too. I was also excited to meet Johnny Cromatic and Metal Mike..as I play guitar and those guys are awesome musicians.

It was such a great show Now I remember why in 1993 I prefered Skid Row over GNR MY 4th sebastian bach concert Hopefully Baz wasnt joking when he said he would be back in a couple of months hopefully end 2008/ early 2009 |

hey hey hey freaks! guess who partied the night away with baz and the boys last night in melbourne? reeeeeeow! I FINALLY MET MY FAVE ARTIST OF ALL TIME, the LOVELY SEBASTIAN BACH!!! and not only once, but TWICE in the one day!!! i don't even have words man, it's totally still sinking in! i can't believe my baz dream has finally come true!
i found out about the soundcheck yesterday and decided to leave work early, in hope of even just catching a glimpse of the one and only baz, and after braving the awesome chilly melbs weather for 3 hrs (with fellow bachboard freak dogface *waves to dogface*) baz arrives hanging out of the window of the car he's driven in, horns in the air! i almost cried! long story cut short (i'm not gonna blab on, soooo many of you have met him and KNOW what a fucking GUN he is) got our stuff signed and took pics and within 5 mins he was gone! however, i am proud to say i got to give him a hug before he was whisked away! woohoo!
then after the show last night we waited 1 hour & 1/2 at the side of the stage but security kept telling us to move. i was NOT going anywhere so i stayed put! mike was on stage packing up his equipment and he yelled out to us come on up guys! hahaha! we shouted back come and get us! he came to the side had a chat with a few ppl and signed some stuff then we told him how the asshole security kept telling us to leave but we didn't want to leave just yet! he told me to hang on a second and that he'd be bach. 2 mins later metal mike came up to me and gave me backstage passes!!!!!!!! i will love and respect that dude forever now! hehehe! they were all soooo awesome, it was great! we talked, laughed, danced & drank all night!

Aaahhh metalmaiden -- we would have been right there with you but the boyfriend got kicked out by security when he went to the loo and we couldn't abandon him.  We had to leave too. So envy you. But one thing has me puzzled. When do these guys sleep??!! Were you all really up all night? I mean they had to fly up to the Gold Coast today, do their sound check and so on an then perform there. When do they sleep if they're partying all night? Sorry if that sounds like I'm doubting you. I'm not at all. I was just wondering, that's all. And congrats on meeting them all and having your dream finally come true. Good for you!! |

That is a kick ass story! very very cool of metal mike....he rocks! glad you got the chance to meet Baz and the band and hang out from everyone is saying the show out of this world.

Damn Metal Maiden I wish I saw you back inside the venue...I walked out about 40 mins after the show ended...I spoke to Rob but he apologised and said he couldnt get me back....as usual they had a "no GUYS" policy there....I wasnt too fussed as I had met Baz anyway, but I wanted to have a beer with the other guys...anyway so I ended up heading back to the backstage door and standing there till 1.30am with about 20 others...I ended up giving up and going home...and all that time YOU were IN THERE!!! Hahaha...thats awesome. Im really happy for you!
Some great stories coming out of this Aussie tour, Baz seems on top of the world at the moment, he seems so happy to meet everyone and hes really enjoying himself...its great to see, im sure this will carry over to the U.S and European shows.

Hey guys, I havent actually posted on here before i just read along and if something catches my eye i post. well... now i am posting away!
It was ony a few hours before the show...
I left the hair dressers at 4pm, my extensions were awesome! i cant believe i spent a grand ($1000AUD) on them!!!
I met Sebastian and his band at the Melbourne show,
It was an amazing show, its the second time i have seen them live!
I saw them at the Gunners show last yr and just recently at the palace theatre bourke st. melbourne.
I was right up there infront of metal mike, and boy he rocks!
This chick my dad knows passed out and went home and a few others also,
At the beginning of Monkey Business, i was on some dudes shoulders, then bas stopped the show to announce that he wanted to see some "tits" and that he would stop the song ad go home if he didn't get to see any.
Bas looked at this chick up on his left on the balcony and so the crowd all turned to encourage her! she refused of course, then i felt the urge!
After the first line or two of the first verse, i lifted my top to reveal my bra and oops! off came that too, some dude behind me yanked and the straps became detatched!!! AAAAhHHhH!!!
My "tits" were revealed also and bas then pointed and instead of singing the proper lyrics, boasted! "We got some tits right heeeeeere! i almost passed out!
I asked for it i guess!!! but i tell you what, i was freaked out because my boyfriend and dad were up on the balcony and sighted the whole thing! My bra was thrown by the guy behind me, up onto the stage and Metal Mike grabbed it! he then threw it back into the crowd, it was my most favourite bra ever! now gone forever...
For the rest of the show i was jiggling around! Then the show came to an end. I waited in anticipation for a guitar pick or some sort of memorabillia, i just wanted some sort of souvenir for being at the best show on earth!
After about an hour or so, we were moved to the other side of the stage where some of the guys were giving out backstage passes! There was a girl standing next to me, she was getting slightly anxious as she desperately wanted to meet bas! she had an awesome tattoo on her arm of Sebastian Bach, I think it was a full body image of him, anyway, the guy handing them out told her "No emotional people are coming back stage", i felt so sorry for her, Over came Metal Mike and he signed my boob, then the guy with the back stage passes turned to metal mike and then mike nodded his head, then the guy turned to me and gave me a pass, by this stage the girl with the tat was pretty upset, i wanted to give my pass to her, but on the same hand i really wanted to meet bas and co. i had waited my whole life for this moment! and here it was finally!
I met some awesome chicks back stage and we very quickly swapped phone numbers! i am in contact with one to this day and we seem to getting along well! it was her bday last week, so "HAPPY B'DAY MEL"
We got to the staircase and inched out way up, it was like waiting in the queue to meet god! my blood was pumping hard!!
I cant really explain my feelings as i walked into the room, there were girls on the couch and cameras flashing in all directions, bas held his arms open ready for Mel and i to give him a huge hug! we got photos and drank with him, we met the other guys and got some photos too! they were all really awesome chilled out dudes! Bas was so hot! in the back ground the music played to the tune of Judas Priest, another of my favourites, bas was singing along to it.
My night ended quite quickly as my angry boyfriend and dad were furiously texting and calling me, so i had to leave!
I really didnt want to, but i knew that my dream had come true and i finally got to meet Sebastian Bach, my favourite singer in the whole entire universe!
So yeah i went home, and split up with my boyfrined after 11yrs!
The next day we patched it up and we now are back together!
I can't wait till bas comes back to melbourne!
Hope i can do it all again! minus the break up and tit incident!
Got some photos too, I will post soon.
BTW, anyone know when bas is coming back to Melbourne for another show??
any info or rumours would be greatly appreciated!

I actually met the girl your talking about (with the Baz tatt on her arm) after the show at the backstage door...your right she was a bit disapointed....she had a great time though, glad you did too, it was an awesome night!
