I don't know if VH1 Classic is repeating this on the Mainland, but it is being re-run out here in Paradise. Baz is all over it, including between band clips and in some Skid Row Vids.

It was cool but it could have been better. They did not say anything os Slave to the grind being the 1st Heavy Metal CD to hit # 1 & They showed I remember you as the second video from SR when we all know it was 18 & life

They COMPLETELY edited what I said on that show to make it look like "I Remember You" was our second single! I even went into detail on how we did NOT release our ballads second, we just 'used' the formula to sneak in an actually cool song like "18 & Life" . I explained that that was what we intentionally did, while the record company completely wanted "I Remember You" as the second single....... I clearly remember battling Atlantic on this & we told them there was no way this was gonna happen. They actually printed up promo singles, for radio only, of "I Remember You" right after "Youth Gone Wild", without our consent, but then when we shot the video for "18 & life" we forced them to release that as the second single. That was what i told "heavy ... the story of metal"... then they ignore what the fuck I said & re-edit history, & what actually happenned, into complete & utter bullshit. let this be yet another lesson ... to me, & everyone else who beleives what they see & hear on tv, that alot of it is made up crap! like the song says "a lesson lived is a lesson learned... every day is a lesson " !

like the song says "a lesson lived is a lesson learned... every day is a lesson " ! [/quote] Of course, I agree: life is a play and we are actors, but we aren`t paid and we don`t know the words. "Just follow your destiny" - Siddhartha Gautama (Budda)

They also neglected to feature Skid Row in any substantial way. I would assume that the Skid Row feature could have been included either in their "glam section" with Motley Crue or somewhere near the Guns and Roses section since I think Skid Row music is kind of a hybrid between glam and Guns and Roses. How could they possibly neglect to include Skid Row in any substantial way, particularly since it was the first heavy metal album to debut at number one?
This show was on Muchmoremusic here in Toronto and I enjoyed but wanted more Skid Row. I loved when Baz was confident enough to admit he loved Disco (that was great!!). I loved disco as well and most people did back then, although they would refuse to admit it now.

I thought Heavy: The Story of Metal was pretty good for the most part, but there were some bands I think they should have talked more about in it.

Nice to see you around again. I didn't know any of the "bach story" to the show, but I do know that some of the shows do have some inaccuracies. I just thought it was cool to see ya on TV. Especially since I get some wierd schedules out here.

It will probably be shown again. It was not a new show - it was already in repeats. VH1 Classic tends to show things over and over again.
