Well, Well, Well.........
I have to admit... I am very addicted to this album!!!
I made a cassette, and it got jammed up in my car stereo and I heard it play over, and over, and over....
The first time I heard "What Kind Of Animal" I cried...alot...Sebastian your voice is so clear, your tone is awesome and you poured out alot of feeling in this song...
Then I listened to it through headphones and all the hair on my body stood straight up...WOW..What a rush...
I am very proud to admit I have something new to practice my own vocals to when warming up to sing myself...I used to use "Wasted Time" but, now it is great to have a change...I also got some great production ideas from this album too for my vocals...
I just wanted to say: THANK-YOU!!!
I do hope someday we will meet face to face.....Maybe even sing together on stage someday....
God Bless you and everyone around you.......
Thank-You once again, Robin*Lee
Don't ever quit..I beg you....

Beautiful vibrato at the end. Love the high note right before the guitar solo. Baz has so much more emotion than most singers.

Just wait until Baz comes to PA, usually around Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, and I'm sure you can meet him. For those that don't know, Robin's band is Rocketqueen, and they are awsome. ;D www.soundclick.com/bands/pageartist.cfm?bandID=212345

This song is really perfect!!!!!!!! Since I had saw Baz live in Rio I cry everytime when I heard that kind of music...and "What kind of animal" is his better interpretation.
And Josh.....you are right...I said the same thing to my wife when I heard "I killed You"
See ya...

could you imagine Baz singing this one live...I would faint dead away!! This song is really cool & would be a great before I Remember You or Wasted Time......... I hope he adds a Good chunk of the Songs to the Live show. As more Cd's come out he may fade away from Some of the SR songs......... Which is not a bad a bad thing. I don't think he will fade them out all together but just like Ozzy became more Identified as a Solo artist through the years & less know for his initial role with Black Sabbath,The Same will come with the Evolution of Sebastian's Carrier. I think th FS2 CD plus Bring "em Bach Alive & the one we are all waiting for will start this change in motion.. Of course I could be wrong LoL

hey littlewing. I suggest you take it down. You are admitting to the whole world that you are breaking the law. Your intentions may be good, but it's not "somewhat" illegal, it is VERY illegal. I did some checking on this and you could get fined several thousands of dollars per download. Just warning you.

this song makes me want to beat my wife and accuse her of stuff she didn't do. Josh I got a feeling your wife feels the same, but she doesn't need a song to do it. LOL Or maybe the theme to Jaws when she's looking for ya. lol (i mean that in a good way).

Hi I'm new around here, I just want to say this whole album is fantastic. I'm a HUGE fan and I saw Baz in New York in November where he performed "Blade" live which totally kicked ass!!! Nobody else seemed to know the words but me and he actually sang the second half of the chorus eye to eye with me. It was great!!!

Oh my God. I just had to post this. Hopefully it won't get taken down. It's just ABSOLUTELY one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. His voice is pure magic on this song -- moreso than usual, if that's possible.
NOW I understand what all the fuss is about with this album. It's worth it just for this one song.

;D I KNOW! I love that song. All the songs on the Album are terrific! I love 'Absence of Empathy' (AOE) I had given one up to a really huge fan of Sebastian (my only copy) and had to order another. Withdrawl while I didn't have one If you don't have it you really should get a copy it's fantastic

Withdrawl while I didn't have one If you don't have it you really should get a copy it's fantastic I ordered it from his page straight after posting the clip on this Board for everyone to share. I've been in two minds about buying it in the past because, to be honest, I not totally rapt in the music that I've heard from the CD (although I love hearing his voice sing the songs), but hearing this song changes all that. It's worth buying for this one song alone. To use another of his performances to explain, he always says that he relates more to the 'Hyde' character in Jekyll & Hyde, and you hear that in a lot of his music. And it's hot. But I love it when you hear the 'Jekyll' side of his character come through in his voice and music, and it truly does in this song. Usually hearing 'Jekyll' in his voice opens my heart chakra up to him. His love and passion comes through that clearly in his voice. But with this song, my heart chakra just radiated energy immediately. What you hear in him is so sincere and beautiful and it blows me away.

I have never heard this one before, but i have ALWAYS wanted to hear Sebastian sing a song like this. WOWOOOOOOOOWOW! I feel a very beautiful peaceful solitude listening to his voice in this. Such true pure tones & connected to such RAW and REAL EMOTIONAL. I don't know how anyone could not be moved by this! A line of this song alone shows how talented he is in any genre and stage! I have a new born baby nephew, (6weeks old) I was the support person for my brother & his wife. It was such an amazing experience. I still have visions in my head of her had clinging to my hand as her grip gradually got weaker from pushing so hard. DON'T worry I won't give detail guys hahaha then finally.....a baby boy AWWWWWWEMASING INDEED!! It really is true when people say "I have never seen anything more beautiful" So after experiencing that Listening to a song like this makes me really think about my precious baby nephew (he is too addictive to be around hahaha) and his life ahead!!!!! I'm so glad you posted it!

I went in with my sister before I had any kids and everyone thought I was insane that it would turn me off but it did not... I then had my first son 9 months later... it was a joke in the family & friends like I caught something in delivery room... and do understand how you relate this song to something so precious.... It is a very powerful song...

I'm listening to Absence of Empathy right now. You're both very brave - I don't want to get in those delivery rooms if I really don't need to. Ofcourse if my friend asked me I'd go but I'm afraid I'd black out there. And it's bittersweet that I must go on May. But hey - my hubby doesn't have any other options - he's as quilty as I'm! He'd better be there or... But yes kids are gifts. Even now when my daughter is having this phase when everything is no no and screaming and yelling...
