I think Eddie played from the heart on Mean streets and other great tunes regardless of whether or not he was drunk. For the record, I would be a fan of Baz's voice even if he was born differently..........and wasn't so easy on the eyes.

I don't care as long as it's not the guys from the Bach tight 5 or bring em Bach alive. There was Nothing Wrong with the Guitarist From Bring "em Bach Alive. Wolf Hoffman is working with Baz for the New CD. They Wrote & Recorded (Never Turn My Back) on Rock "n" Roll Ritchie Scarlet is another Talented Player. Larry & Jimmy were good for the Beginning but I think Baz has Played with Better. I know Jimmy Wrote The Most Powerful man in the World Sleep, Super Jerk Super Stars Super Tears, Who Made You do it , Blasphemer,Play in the Clouds Fan Mail Oh Yeah & Spider Love with Baz Larry Helped Write Done Bleeding with Baz & Ritchie & Counter Punch with Baz. So these Guy's were a Big Help In the Come Back From Baz. |

Here's my two cents on the topic!!! I Think Slash is awesome in terms of his song writing and his solo's has a trademark that when u hear any song that he plays in ..You'll Know its Him!!! But when u see him LIVE, Slash does seem to trip on his fingers alot... His mistakes are quite obvious on certain occasions.. As for Eddie . U can't really compare the two.. Eddie is a pioneer. He was the one that created the foundation for what rock is today.. Proof, "eruption"....
As for the musicians on Bring em bach alive.. I would have to say.. Those guys were awesome.. the band was tight but the equipment was wrong..
ritchie scarlett uses a gibson les paul. Which is an awesome guitar. But the guitar does not extract the sound and the tone that of the Skid row songs. similarly Jimmy flemion uses a Fender Stratocaster. A versatile and legendary guitar which can emulate most sounds and tones but the sound is a bit wimpy when u play metal.. (but thats just my opinion)
I would say ..that if you want to emulate skid row's original sound .. It would be Ibanez or ESP guitars... But i think Baz knew what he was doing when he chose the 2 guitarist for BEBA.. he wanted the sound to be different and as a whole, the band was tight and awesome live..
