Finally! Some proof that the roughs are as good or better than the final product. Let's see what happens from here eh?

WOW!
I'm really glad he did this, he might be in deep shit for it, but his singing has been said to need all this help, and that the roughs were so bad, well...I LOVE THEM!
I really do hope that they can put this behind them, because Henning is a cool dude, I know he's not liked on here, but he's cool. and he's a musical genius, and I've NEVER used that word before, Henning is one of a kind, wait till his follow up comes out CWCID, it'll blow your mind, too.
I have to figure out how to put mp3's on here, you guys HAVE to hear my son's sing Sebastian, it's freaking WILD! They are CRAZY about him, and all I did was play his music, like I do ALL KINDS, and they ALL LOVE him!
and if they're going to copy a style, he's the one I'd want them to follow!
Funny thing, when I was looking for the roughs on the main page, from Hennings board. I was scrolling and my four year old was on my lap (which is scary, because you never know what's going to pop up) and he seen the bloody hand, and he goes "oh that's ugly" and then I scrolled up and he seen it was Sebastian and he said "that's not ugly, it's Sebastian..."I can't understand whyyyyyy, but your..peeienn keeps me aaaliiiiii..iive" this is gonna HURT!

right on dude. I'm glad he put them up also. It put to rest a lot of crap that was being said. I mean, come on. We have all heard Sebastian sing on Broadway and also live rock and roll shows. We know that when he is not running around a stage at full speed like a wild man, and can focus more on the singing, he can sing his ass off.

I have to say, i agree with baz on the rough mixes. be it Baz's vocals or hennings guitar play . ;D . It didnt sound raw and the song sounded more complete .. especially i killed you... I mean, the lead guitar at the end .. that was awesome. i was totally blownaway by henning's guitar work there.. FRIKKIN AMAZING.. im just as amazed at what the reasons could possibly be for henning to tone down the lead.. All in all, i think the rough mixes showcases both talent. Baz has never doubted hennings talent, infact with the rough mixes, he is actually showcasing what an amazing musician henning truly is. As for Baz, i didnt actually need listen to anything new to appreciate his abilities, I just know.. Now i have not been very vocal about the Henning vs Baz saga, coz initially i couldnt care less about what actually goes on outside the music. The main reason I am a huge bach fan is because of of his singing abilities and his awesome songs. Period.. I dont care about his looks or how nice he is or the things he wears or whatever.. same thing goes for Henning.. talented musician... Thats all i needed to know.. BUT i realize one thing.... all this fighting, no matter who is right or wrong is bad for the industry. The mainstream music industry is crap. Bubblegum pop, hip-hop songs that all sound the same, teenage punk that all sound the same, talentless teenage girls who cant sing but have the look to sell millions and rock songs that are depressingly mono and empty.. That is what is ruling the airwave worldwide. these guys are making money out of shitty products. When Baz and Henning decided to collaborate, i had this instant feeling that i knew this was gonna be an awesome collaboration. True enough the album was amazing. But was it widely distributed? Does anybody outside the fans of prog rock or metal know that the album exists? .. U see.. good music is not getting the recognition it deserves. So many quality musicians are making coals compare to the diamonds made by those talentless popstars. In the end the talented artists would not have the drive to do what they love and end up losing interest because they are not able to showcase their abilities to the public. In the end, the music business is an expensive business and if you cant compete or comply with the trend.. you wont be successful. That is why it was quite sad for me to see that the collaboration between Baz and henning fell apart. The musical synergy and potential for huge success was there for the taking. Im sure that if given the proper budget for A&P Frameshift2 would sell atleast a million.. It just needed the support and commitment from both party to agree on one agenda.. which is to 'spread the music to the whole world'. freeqout ze aminal

Holy Smoke They Sound Great. Getem While there Hot folks They won't be there long. Thank You Bazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I can't stop listening to them I have put there counter parts next to them & wow they hold up with out a final Mix <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>< FRAMESHIFT 2 AN ABSENCE OF EMPATHY "Sebastian Bach has never sounded better" Mike Greenblatt / Metal Edge Magazine C 10.11.05 I am happy to say that on the whole I am very pleased with the Frameshift 2 'An Absence Of Empathy' CD mixes. I am especially proud of the song 'Blade'. Henning did a great job on the final mix of this song. I would have to say that, at the moment, 'Blade' is my favorite song I have ever recorded in my 20 year career. It went over great with the crowd when we did it live in Italy & NJ this summer, & we will definitely keep the song in the set for the 4 shows in November! I also think that the CD mixes of 'Miseducation' & 'What Kind Of Animal' are incredible. I would not change a thing about these final mixes. Clickhere to buy the CD. Unfortunately, I cannot say I am %100 happy with every final mix on the CD. I of course did not hear the CD before it was put in the stores, & if Henning would have honoured his word, we would have ended up with a CD that we were both completely proud of. Who knows, maybe someday we can get together again & make this happen. I am certainly not holding my breath for that. I thought you all might be interested to hear some of the rough mixes of the songs from 'An Absence Of Empathy'. These were recorded directly after the vocals were recorded. I never leave a studio without a record of my work that particular day & I am sure glad I don't. I truly believe that the rough mixes of these songs have something to offer that the CD versions ultimately do not. Push The Button Music: Pauly Lyrics/Melody: Bach/Cash/Evers/Pauly ASCAP I Killed You Music: Pauly Lyrics/Melody: Bach/Cash/Evers/Pauly ASCAP I posted this song for 2 reasons specifically. Number one, I hate 'auto-tune'. The trend in producing vocals these days is very different to the approach when I was recording the albums 'Skid Row' & 'Slave To The Grind'. Now it is very common practice to take a lead vocal track & put it through a computer to make it sound absolutlely perfect. To remove each & every breath. To alter notes if you so desire in the final mix. This rough version is actually what I sang, what came out of a real live human being's mouth, & heart, & soul, & mind. Those of you who have the CD can have fun trying to spot the words that were left as I actually sang them, on the final mix, & the ones that were digitally altered, with 14,000 pounds of GOOP needlessly piled on top. For me as the vocalist who sang this, & helped co-write the melody & words of the song, it is very easy to tell! Number 2, this rough mix contains my absolute favorite Henning Pauly guitar work I have ever heard. The guitar tone & playing by Henning on this rough mix of 'I Killed You' are to me far superior to the CD final mix. Henning's lead guitar tone & playing in this rough mix have brought a tear to my eye on more than one occasion. I was very surprised when I finally listened to the CD, that Henning went in & replaced all his lead guitar work on this track. This is some of the tastiest & most heartfelt guitar playing I have heard in years. This Is Gonna Hurt Music: Pauly Lyrics/Melody: Cash/Evers/Gordon/Pauly In An Empty Room Music: Pauly Lyrics/Melody: Bach/Cash/Evers/Pauly ASCAP My vocal is a little too loud in the verses of this mix, but I posted it for one simple reason. The rough mix makes me cry. The mix on the CD does not. So if you don't have 'An Absence Of Empathy' yet, I hope the rough mixes above will get you interested in checking out the actual CD. If you already have it, hearing these roughs might give you a perspective on the music that you don't get from the final CD. Bottom line is, dump these mp3's into your Ipod & rock out!!! Enjoy!!! ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>>< Im enjoying ever seocond of these songs. Thank U BazzzzzzZzzzzzZzzzzzzzzZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZz Now about the Revolver songs " PUSH THE BUTTON" Sebastian Bach Rules

Sebastian could not have said it better about the guitar playing in I Killed You. I cannot believe how differently the song made me feel with the original guitar playing. I thought this was one of Sebastian's most passionate works, can't listen to it enough. Loved every song!

Bach to the subject. I love these songs & want to thank Baz for giving them to us. I happen to look at Hennings Sight & he has flipped his Wig.
I don't know how long Baz is going to keep them up on his web. They are threatening to sue Baz.
I really don't want to see him get in trouble for this. I'm thinking he has a plan or something.
This is a great marketing tool I feel they are over looking. Sebastian's sight is vistaed thousands of Times a day. And with the advertisement in Metal Edge I'm sure even more people are going to look into it.
You know it's funny he let them say all kinds of things about him with out much reply. When he Finally sends out the "COUNTER PUNCH" it's a knock out.
If this goes to court & makes headline news the CD will still be Publicly Well know.
And in the end it's still going to be Baz in the Spot Light!

No kind of publicity is bad publicity. I think that is one of the comandments in the rock star bible. To get back to the topic. I also enjoy the rough cuts. There does seem to be more emotion in the vocals, but the album is a prog-rock record, and that genre of music usually features a lot of overproduction. This does seem to be the case with AoE. It is also the reason I don't care for prog-rock in general.

If they take him to court it's going to be News. I don't think I have to point out that new travels fast, but I guess I did. When the News gets involved TV & Paper it's going to show case Sebastian. If they take him to court he will counter Sue they have done enough damage to them selves on there own board. There is more than enough stuff to discredit there claims. It's going to be interesting to see how this unfolds. X<><><><><><><><><><><><>>><>>><><><><><><><><><><><><><><<>><><><><><<<>><>>>><X My Review on the Roughs. In an Empty room you can hear the Voice clear it's as if Baz was in the Same Room. I killed You I love both Versions this song is still my Fav. The Guitar solos are Killer But The Voice is what sets the Frenzy. Push the Button sounds almost the Same as the CD version Grate Song. This is gonna Hurt I have to say I like the CD Version better. The Keyboard & Effects seem to be missing. But Baz still sounds Awsome. X<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>X Baz I might be pushing it but "JUST ONE MORE" song please then We have an EP LoL

Primo, you make some very valid points. Josh Thanks I try. I thought I had was if they are so insane about the hole subject & it really dose not mater to them cause it's about the music & not the Money Why not make an offer to Sebastian & sell it to him? Nah that will never happen. The hardest part is they Bach & Henning create Killer Music together.

I can't believe some of you here posted over there too. I downloded these songs - now to set up my soundcard drivers and have a drink.
I Killed You 1:04 2:00 2:20 on excellent perfect vocals all around.
In An Empty Room guitar after 2:55 is cool. Sebastian Vocal' s after 5:00 ...5:34 -5:42 nailed it.
This is gonna hurt 4:00 Sebastian's right on. Did too good on it.
Push I don't like much.. i'll give it another listen later tomorrow.
Push The Button. 1:26 killer guitar .where is the metal smiley, Bach rocks! 2:45 killer guitar again. excellent lead in from Sebastian sounds like he's backing up the guitar at 2:48 - 2:54. the begining of the national anthem at 3:45. and good guitar. It's the voice that matters and can't be done by anyother than Bach..I like it better now since i listened more times and can play these leads with one hand. just kidding.. i can't play this good but i know a few people that would do this tune justice.

Some of what have posted was positive to the project & on more than one occasion & spoke against allot of the BS said about Sebastian. I was involved in the Flame War & there is no question who's side I was on. But It should never had gotton that far. The Fact is They Make Killer Music together. I don't think anyone could say other wise. If they would have kept there word this never would have happened (Flame War) but Whats done is done. I'm not sure if you are referring to me personally but since I have posted over there I felt I would Explain.

Okay, i'll put my two cents in here too .....but dont shoot me ! The songs i like best are "Push The Button" and "This Is Gonna Hurt" , although i'm not very fond of the style used , "prog", as i've read a couple posts back. I also dont quite agree with the quote used above the CD cover on the main site , that comment about He's never sounded better... Come on ! I sure have heard him do even better, but that's just a matter of taste i guess.....
