At work today we got to talking Frame Shift. Dose this CD really fall into a category? We all agreed it stands out enough in the modern edge to compete with Nu Metal Bands like Disturbed,Linkin Park,7 Dust.
Yet it also has the trace of early Metal bands like Iron Maiden,Dream Theater Queensryche.
We got to talking about how it's been labeled Progressive Metal. But dose this title really fit it?
Since it became shuch a hot topic I was wondering what the rest of you thought.
No doubt it's a great CD,I say the best of 2005 While the chance of a follow up from this line up is Dobutfull to put it mild. I think the only one who will top this CD will be Sebastian with Angel Down but only September will tell.

The Frameshift CD is one of the best I have ever heard. Every song is awesome and that is rare to find a CD where you like ALL of the songs. "What Kind of Animal" has literally brought me to tears quite a few times b/c his voice is utterly amazing!
