How's it going? I am new to this board. I just bought an IPOD not too long ago. I found a Podcast on ITUNES with Bas and Eddie Trunk a few months ago. I don't think the Podcast is on ITUNES anymore. Also I purchased an Axl Rose Podcast from www.eddietrunk.com. I've noticed that on both Podcast, Bas has in a sense ripped the producers of Frameshift. There was even talk that the Frameshift people didn't give him royalties for the music that he co-wrote. It also seemed that Bas doesn't care for the way they recorded Frameshift. If you know any info about this, could you please let me know. FNG Jay Berwanger

"An Absence of Empathy" with Sebastian Bach on lead vocals is the follow-up album to Frameshift's critically acclaimed 2003 debut, "Unweaving the Rainbow," which featured James LaBrie of legendary progmetal veterans Dream Theater. Bach has made a name as lead singer for the multimillion-selling band Skid Row, which was the first heavy metal band to debut at #1 on the Billboard Chart. Bach, www.sebastianbach.com, who is responsible for over 22 million in record sales, has been continuing his career on Broadway where he sang leading roles in "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Jekyll and Hyde" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." He recorded his first solo album in 1998, "Bring 'Em Bach Alive," and is currently touring with his new band around the globe. Bach has a new DVD, "Forever Wild," in stores now. A welcomed guest on MTV and VH1 shows, he is also a featured guest on WB's "The Gilmore Girls." Henning Pauly, the musician behind the first Frameshift album, describes the music of "An Absence of Empathy" as a heavy approach to film scoring. His writing is very visual, and Sebastian Bach's experience with heavy metal and Broadway made him an ideal candidate for the vocals. The sound of the album is very modern progmetal bordering on metal with nu-metal influences. After recording the vocals for the song "This is Gonna Hurt," Bach said, "I love it when two guys who never met each other can get together and immediately make good music!" "An Absence of Empathy" is the logical continuation in ProgRock Record's lineup of high-quality titles. The label continues to add high profile musicians to their catalog while maintaining true to their philosophy that the music has to be good no matter whose name is on it. After James LaBrie, Michael Sadler, Guy Manning, Mike Keneally, and Jody Ashworth, having Sebastian Bach perform on this Frameshift album is another step toward worldwide recognition for the label. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` FRAMESHIFT 2 AN ABSENCE OF EMPATHY "Sebastian Bach has never sounded better" "# 2 CD OF 2005 !" Mike Greenblatt / Metal Edge Magazine ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was the best CD of 2005 & it's still kicking ass

i agree ace .. the album still kicks ass .. everytime i listen to it ..i dont seem to get bored of it Yeah I listen to the CD weekly. I have even mixed the songs in with my Bach Solo & Skids stuff. Sebastian & Frameshift made a great CD it's to bad how things went down but what counts in the end is the Silver Disk. Sebastian sounds great & I still hope he adds songs like Miseducation & This is gonna hurt to his set list. I would love to hear him do the whole CD but with Angel Down coming out in Oct & Other CDs in the future I just hope he dose not let the music fade into obscurity. We know he has done Blade, but songs like I killed you,Just one more ,Push the button are just as Killer. With the years to come as more songs hit the seen like, Angel Down,American Metal Head,By your side. Baz is sure to fade songs in & out. Youth Gone Wild may become the opening song & Baz will close the show with Slave to the grind Just one more or Take you down with me. Only time will tell but Sebastian's music will live on "FOREVER WILD"
