Plain & simple I love both CD's in fact I love all of Sebastian's CD's
But Angel Down IMO is the best..... Absence of empathy is another
Amazing CD that truly shows Sebastian's talent as a singer,It is
a great CD That has all the elements from Theater,to the sounds of Nu Metal & is a great Progressive Metal CD. But Angel Down is in your Face Hard Rocking Heavy Metal Music that I love.....
Angel Down is a great follow up to an Absence of empathy
that I said fell just short of Slave to the grind,but I truly feel Angel Down is better than them both.......

Angel Down.
Baz's voice on AoE is great, but I don't dig some of the over production on it. Angel is down is more metal and made mostly will real instruments etc.

i think with the quality of songs that baz has on all his cds its hard to choose,
angel down is a hard rockin heavy metal based record, and absence of empathy is a progressive metal record,
i would choose angel down because it relies less on the technology and more of the talent and rawness of the great rock n roll musicians on that record and the working together,
but i think both are fantastic and would recommend buying both coz there both quality albums and are impressive.

Since I like Baz's "clean" voice I will go with AoE. But I hate the idea of chosing. I'm going to quote "There are only two kinds of music - good and bad" and both albums come into the first category.
