I found this Net serfing  .: Meet (again) Canadian-born heavy metal star Sebastian Bach – television sitcom performer (The Gilmore Girls), reality TV star (VH1’s Forever Wild), Broadway lead (Jekyll & Hyde, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Jesus Christ Superstar) and, oh yeah, ex-frontman for New Jersey’s Skid Row who topped the Billboard charts fourteen years ago. Still rocking, the youthful, blond-maned, New York-based Bach, 36, was in Toronto recently to promote his new DVD, Forever Wild, a 125-minute compilation of the artist in concert merged with footage from the 16-episode Forever Wild series, a reality-based look behind the scenes of his rock band. Balanced against live performances of such Skid Row staples as ‘Slave To The Grind’, ‘18 And Life’ and ‘Youth Gone Wild’ from the band’s two chart-topping albums, Skid Row and Slave To The Grind, which sold over 22 million copies in the early 1990s, this two-year labour of love is a document of all things Sebastian Bach. “Yeah, it was real cool of VH1 to hand this stuff over, and guys like Vince [Neil] and Ted Nugent and Drea [de Matteo] just signed off on it. Nobody wanted anything. They just wanted me to put it out,” bubbles the youthful Bach as he holds court in a downtown hotel. After being fired by Skid Row in 1995 over creative differences (“they wrote crap songs and I didn’t want to sing them”), Bach has proven to be a resilient and multi-talented performer. He quickly formed a new group, The Last Hard Men, featuring The Breeders’ Kelley Deal and Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlain, and toured the US, Japan and Korea with his own solo project. Then he rocked Broadway by taking over the lead in Jekyll And Hyde, earning raves from the New York media. “My dad was dying of leukemia at the time and here was this play about a doctor having to test drugs on himself to find a cure for his ailing father. This turns him into Mr. Hyde and full-on heavy metal. At the end of Scene One, I’m beating some priest to death with a billy club. It was like being in a horror movie every day.” Bach also went on to starring roles in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Jesus Christ Superstar. “I love to sing, and if it looks like fun, I’ll do it. If you think about it, most of the top heavy metal singers would be great on Broadway. Metal singers are the best in the world, we all have a high vocal range.” Bach’s venture into reality TV through Forever Wild was well received in the States, and he and his wife Maria have just wrapped up a 30-minute segment of VH1’s new show, I Married A Rock Star, a look at being married to a rock star from the spouse’s perspective. Coupled with his five-episode spike on The Gilmore Girls (he fronts a rock band with the girls), it’s easy to see why there won’t be any fundraising telethons for Bach. “Check this out,” he says, displaying the back of his rock T-shirt to reveal a list of German rock concerts. “This is not 1990, this was last week! Heavy metal is alive and well.” Bach points to Velvet Revolver’s top spot on Billboard’s charts as an indication that metal is making a comeback. “Everyone says that grunge killed metal, but that’s wrong. Grunge killed grunge. Kurt Cobain is dead! Where are Nine Inch Nails and Pearl Jam?” he asks sarcastically. “They’re really kicking ass! I’m going on tour next week and I have a full summer of dates. Everyone in Toronto is still talking about AC/DC’s performance at the SARS concert, Van Halen just came through Toronto, Deep Purple and Judas Priest are coming. Hey, I’m 20 years younger than Kiss and Aerosmith and they are still playing. “I’m not worried about a lack of airplay or media exposure. Been there with Skid Row and done that,” including the cover of Rolling Stone in 1991. “It’s never been about money or getting laid. It’s always about playing live, rehearsing, recording, setting up amps and playing for people. That’s what I live for. I know you've had it rough lately, and all in all, I like you, but if you see something you want us to read, just post a link. There is a ton of stuff out there on Sebastian. Please don't post it here. It's so freakin' long. And most of the time it's old news.

Another copy of board rules to 'remind' everyone. Taking notice of number 3.
