It would totally KickAce if Sebastian made a compilation CD of Kidwikkid,Vo5,Madam X & anything else that I may have missed, into a CD. All those years of Demos & Live stuff.. I'm sure he could fill a double Cd.

I knew all those dudes from their assorted bands at the time - Harlott, Kid Wikkid, The Throbs etc. I caught up with Pete in LA in 1990 and he had the show on VHS but I lost touch with him many years ago. I've also searched the net and YouTube for any clips but no luck. On an unrelated note, the first band I ever saw in a club was Kid Wikkid at Larry's Hideaway in Toronto. I was 16. When Sebastian came out doing Toys in the Attic I was in shock. I'd never seen him before but people were always talking about him. He was a rock star long before he a rock star. Blew my mind.

I just thought of another gem from the past. Baz was still in Kid Wikkid when Madam X came to Toronto. They played a gig at Rock N' Roll Heaven with a band called Halloween opening for them (not the german metal band Helloween). My buds and I hung out with them after the show at a restaurant called "Fran's" on College St in Toronto. I can't remember if Baz was there or not but they played again either the next night or the night after at another club which I'm almost positive was called Studio 27 (it was right off of Highway 27 if you know the area). Anyways, Baz was there that night and after the show a bunch of us went backstage and Baz was showing the Madam X members (including the singer he would soon replace) all kinds of Kid Wikkid promo pics and passing out their demo. Long story short, Madam X left town and the next thing I knew, I heard that Baz was their new singer. Obviously this is before Skid Row but I remember thinking at the time "He's finally made it. He's in Madam X!!!" Well, I guess the situation didn't work out so well because it wasn't long before I heard that Madam X split and Baz was back in town. VO5 was what came next. I was in another local cover band and we rehearsed down the hall from them at a place called Safor Studios. I'm pretty sure Baz never intended to do more than one show with VO5. I'm think he was just looking for a reason to kick ass in his hometown again... and he did. It was completely packed that night. One of my best buds was the bass player in the opening band. We still talk about that night sometimes and especially that era. It was incredible. I remember that among other tunes in their setlist that night, VO5 played Heart's done time by Aerosmith and Modern Day Cowboy by Tesla. I'm pretty sure that they also played Deuce from Kiss too. They used to rehearse it at any rate. Baz's hair was the biggest of anything from the hair metal era that night. It looked like a patio umbrella!!!. Those were the good ol days man. Next time Baz hit town it was to play at Rock N Roll Heaven once again. The only difference being that this time he had just played 2 hours earlier to 20,000 people at the CNE grandstand opening for Bon Jovi. You couldn't get near the club it was so packed. That was the exact moment when I decided to leave Toronto and head west to L.A. He'll never know it but Baz changed the course of my life in one night. Like I said, good times. Holy shit, that was long

Every time I hear of this Kid Wikkid demo I just wonder when it's going to surface? From all that I have read it had 4 or 5 songs? Money,Ladie Squeeze ,Fire something any info you can tell us about it?

I don't remember much about that demo but I think the song was actually called "Money in a Hurry", not just money because I remember the chorus, but I could be wrong. There's also a Kid Wikkid track called "take a look at me" on an album called "Maple Metal" which has a bunch of other local Toronto bands from that time. Baz was maybe 15 when that was recorded. You can hardly tell it's him singing. I think the song was recorded when they were called Herrenvolk but on the album it's listed as Kid Wikkid. I actualy found that track on limewire and I have it on my Ipod. The album's been out of print for years.
