Here in Melbourne I've seen ads for it in the In Press mag that is distributed free in the record shops here. And little ads have started appearing in the entertainment pull-out in the Sun newspaper too. But that's all I've seen so far.

Ive only seen the Street Press ads as well. I reckon thats about all we will get too, maybe an interview in the street press a week or 2 out from the shows, but not much else...hopefully someone like Andrew Haug on Triple Js Full Metal Racket might get him on the show for a chat, that would be cool.

Ok here the venues he is playing are an hour or so away from me so not an area I am near... but have you seen any posters or anything about... But I have heard nothing about tour....
Just wondering because a few people I have spoken to that went to GNR for example had no idea he was coming back... and I swear if they knew they would be at this concert also cause in my opinion he stole the show at GNR... made many a new fan at those shows... So wondering if people know he is coming ... and can we find out ticket sales anywhere...

First ad I saw was in the newspaper on the 28th of May, cause as soon as I did I jumped on line and posted a thread, begging for more info. You know what the most annoying thing was though? The ad had this site, Sebastian's myspace, as well as the TicketMaster site listed as sources for more information, and yet not one had ANYTHING about the Australian tour. Now I can understand Sebastian's sites not having info, I mean, he maintains them himself for fucks sake! But TicketMaster had nothing! No acknowledgment of the tour, what-so-ever. Hmmf, are we really that irrelevant?
AAANYWAY, as for other advertisements, you're right, there hasn't been much. Like Butts said, there has been a bit in the free music press magazines, and i've seen a few big post-ups around (Melbourne) the city.
I was wondering, is it wrong to remove a post-up and take it home? Cause there's one really near my house in a place virtually out of view, and those who do see it are all penguins with brief cases. Yet (as we've concluded) there is a decided lack of advertising. So if I want it really really badly, is it still wrong to take it?

Did you see Tobes' review/opinion of Sebastian in the Metalocalypse section of Beat magazine about two weeks ago? oh, and which newspaper?

Thanks for replying so obviously there are posters up to so that is cool found out today from a friend that there are posters up all over Valley in Brisbane too... so at least that is good that the people that go to the clubs around there might see them...
But yeah Definitely not enough advertising....
Umm the poster... maybe steal it the night of the concert.... that is a hard one I would want to take it too... but would want people to know the concert is on... even some of the penguins with brief cases they may surprise you and actually want to go to...
