My wife and I bought 4 tickets to see Baz in Adelaide. My 2 daughters absolutely love both Skid Row and Angel Down. Now due to lack of sales the venue has been moved to smaller place but its now become an 18 and over concert. My daughters are 8 and 10 respectively and they were both in tears most of last night when we found out. Now I dont know how many under 18's had tickets to go see the concert but as of yesterday they cant go. This makes no sense as what was going to be a smallish crowd has just been reduced further by making it over 18's only. I dont know whos fault it is but logic would suggest keeping it an all ages venue just for the concert then clearing the place out so it can become a nightclub again.  |

Sad to hear that, both for you, your daughters and Baz. I don't know the law in your area, but in NY if a minor was accompanied by an adult they would be allowed into the venues. Perhaps you should contact the venue directly to see what can be done about the age restrictions?
I do hope you will be able to make some kind of arrangements so they and you can go to the show.

Is it possible that Baz is doing bad with the sales?

Just got a call from the ticketing agency here and they have setup a dry area in the venue for under 18's. Since we returned our tickets to Venuetix 2 days ago they are express posting 2 replacements out 2day. Thumbs up Venuetix
Cant wait to tell the girls.

Thanks Guys. Let me just make this very clear.
This had nothing to do with the Baz and the band.
Obviously not thought through properly by promoter and venue. I'm just glad they changed it.
I'll get back to you on the show. My girls love hard rock and metal. I sure prefer them listening to REAL music rather than the same ol' same ol' RnB hip hop crap that is everywhere.

First of all Steven, you have no right questioning my parenting. I have two beautiful daughters who are doing well in school, successful at sport and always treat everyone with respect. The fact that you said they should listen to the wiggles tells me you have no idea what you are talking about. And by the way , I would prefer they listen to SKID ROW rather than the hip hop shit that goes around masquerading as music these days talking about the shit they talk about. Get a life mate. Talk about unhappy fans.... I was in New Hampshire for two days and I just returned yesterday. In Corcord New Hampire visiting friends. Called up the local rock station I wanted to hear some Bach. The DJ there said he never heard Baz's new CD Angel Down  Yes I think Angel Down just isn't being given enough publicity!! |

My wife and I are forever telling explaining to people who Baz is. Once they know who he is they usually go "Oh yeah I loved him in SKID ROW" and they want to hear more. Maybe Baz should bite the head off a baby koala or something ;D Just kidding. Lack of advertising over here has resulted in less than great ticket sales and a move to a smaller venue which is fine by me. Should be a great show. |
