The problem is, Metal is HUGE in europe. The States do not support the bands, meaning corporate america.. unfortunetly, MTV doesn't promote metal anymore(They Suck) and there is not enough demand for it.. Yes there are plenty of fans like us, but nobody wants to back these bands anymore. What happened to all the killer outside fests and large three day concerts besides OzzFest. In Europe, it looks like the Us in the mid eighties promoting tons of outside three day metal fests and the people in those countries are friggin crazy about metal. thats why GnR and Bach and the rest of the bands are going to Europe to tour, they get alot better response...

... and I'm jealous of States. You can see his VH1 systems, we have Europian version of VH1 and it's not so sure we can see his shows. And not forgetting Jesus Christ Superstar, Jekyll and Hyde, etc. It's true that metal/rock is a big thing in Europe, it's been several years. Thanks to Nightwish, The Rasmus, The 69 Eyes and HIM. (Just naming the Finnish bands that made it happen in Finland) Now we also have Headbangers Ball in MTV. We have metal festivals in Helsinki, Tuska (=Pain) and also Sauna Open Air Metal Festival in Tampere. And those festivals last three days. I really hope that people go to see bands in the festivals so we're going to have that kind of festivals also in the future.

What stinks is places like New York City, one of the biggest cities, has only ONE rock station! Its mostly the other 'crap'. Where as Philadelphi, PA, has 4 or 5. I think its ridiculous.

the only rock station is q104.3 eddie trunk's station, which is all classic. i like classic my classic rock don't get me wrong, but i want to hear new stuff also. the others are talk, or pop, or r&b. sirius and xm are getting the listeners now i tell you.

I hear ya.. you certainly can't rely on MTV, thats for damn sure and VH1 isn't much better. Atleast they came out with MAY- Metal Month. And now Demnocracy. Those two channels have so much influence on the general public it is sick. I usually do not watch either until May came around!!!

glad that satellite is getting listeners, but I can't afford to pay to listen to it, hell, i'm just barely hanging on to surviving, forget about paying for radio. lol Thank God for Philly stations. Oh yeah, and the NJ rock stations.

Lordi is great! ;D I love their attitude. And the singer Putaansuu is very down to earth guy, very nice. It was first time in Finnish history that Finland won Eurovision song contest and with rock band.
WHAT!!?? Baz in Europe, no shit!! It's so so so baaaadd time for me now. I'm pregnant and my baby is expected to born on 4th of June....

The good thing is, this really opens up many opportunites for him and the band. I am hoping that this really boosts his popularity with new fans and with his up and coming album, there is a chance. I would love to see a big demand for him as well as old school metal again... I want the US to be more like Europe. Come on people, get fuckin real. Don't you miss the that 80's metal feeling with large arena and 3 day fests!!!!! That fuckin rocks. The europeans are showing us out and I am fuckin jealous. Fuckin MTV steers the American public which ever fuckin way they feel is most profitable and the dumbass Americans fall for it....Oh, lets watch real world or who can insult each others momma, give me a break. MTV is EVIL!!!!If no one watched, they would go away!!!! We need someone that will air 24 hour Metal videos around the clock....

like wildincini told in 2 other threads you asked about this. check sebastian's website. michele Thanks, yeah I had posted them all before any replies. He doesn't mention the date on his website, that is the thing. I reckon it's cos he's playing Japan as GNR aren't playing there. He's failed to say that they leave the tour and resume it for a 2nd time

I agree, I hope he will come to Belgium again one day! I travelled all the way to New York in 2000 to see him but it was soooo worth it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if the funds were there ... lol
