WOW what a show..its 2.11am here I just got home...will post everything tomorrow but guess what...I MET BAZ!!!! YEEEEE HAAAA Got pics with him and signed stuff...the man is THE BEST....totally cool guy...im still on cloud 9...going to bed now, but more to come...

Oh wow....ok....well I took the afternoon off work and went straight to the venue...there were about 15 or so freaks there at about 2pm...someone had seen the Band go in (without Sebastian) and then leave again and they said they would all be back about 4pm...so I went for a walk and I found the Backstage door! So basically for 3 hours we just stood and waited and waited and waited and then lo and behold a van comes down and Sebastian has got teh window down giving the Metal sign and yelling out "RIGHT ON DUUUUDES!!"..hahahaha....so we all ran down the little alley where he went and out he came...WHAT A COOL MAN HE IS!!! He spent time with all of us, spoke to everyone, signed everything took photos, I told him I was Dogface from the board and he said "Oh yeah ive read some of your posts duuuude" and I got this:  and THIS  He was great, really...so friendly and chatty and loved meeting all of us.... The show was AMAZING of course....same set I think as the Sydney show that Nitro posted...Baz sounds better than ever, he sounds better everytime I see him....AND he said that they will be doing a Film Clip for "By Your Side" in 3 weeks time!!! |

Oh yeah and yep I was FRONT ROW....I got more pics to upload of the show and some Video as well...I will try to get that up over the next day or so. I reckon this show was better than the 2006 and 2007 shows, Baz just seems to be having so much FUN up there and was genuinely blown away by the responce he receives here in Oz...we go crazy for the guy and he feeds off it and just gives it EVERYTHING hes got...
A truly memorable day for me yesterday...a life long dream came true meeting Baz. I will never forget it.

yeah they only had 2 security people at the front of the stage from what I could see....he's just jumped the barrier and pulled himself up on stage and gone wild!!! Baz loved it too...not that im encouraging anyone to do it...those Security guys can do some damage to ya, but Baz thought it was pretty funny I think and made him stagedive back into the crowd.
I spoke to that guy after the show (had to congradulate him on THAT effort) and he said he saw the opportunity and just took it...he was pretty excited.

How totally AWESOME for you meeting Sebastian and getting to chat a bit! No doubt you're still flyin high, can't wait to see the rest of your pics but the ones you posted were cool! Thanks for sharing with us....it's great to see something happy for a change.

last night in melbourne was NUTS!!!! i went nuts! everyone was going NUTS!!!! the band played their BEST EVER set last night in melbourne and i'm sure those of you who went to see baz & axl last year, as well as baz in 06, would agree! they went INSANE and the vibes coming from the stage were unbelievable! baz's voice is outta this world, he keeps sounding better and better! and the guys play stronger and better every year! i got 7 songs on video and the quality is not bad! pics are shit though, too dark (except for a few i took in black & white hehehe) ..... ONE HELL OF A NIGHT!!!!!!! my night, INDESCRIBABLE!!!!

I am still recovering 2 days later, my voice is completely shot! Having seen every performance in Melbourne, I would have to say that it was the best by far, with the Angel Down material getting a big run and was received incredibly well. The crowd was ballistic, and Baz and the band just fed of the energy, giving a dynamite performance. I just hope my voice recovers as I'm flying to Newcastle next weekend. This time I will pull out all stops to meet Baz and the boys like a lucky few on this board did.

I wish I'll meet him too in Tallin, Tampere or Oulu... But seeing his show three times a summer in Finland is a more than I could have ever dreamed of.
