well, where do i start....talk about being on Cloud fkn 9!!!!!! awesome show in perth, dont know where to start so this review could be all messed about. had the priveledge of watching the guys in sound check a few hours before the show. they band couldnt believe how tight they sounded together. there was just 6 of us and as they finished we met the band and said our hellos and then goodbyes before the main show. so after the opening act Baby Jane, who were pretty good the band came on at 9....opened with Bach in the Saddle. here is the setlist to the best of my memory, and best order i can remember; Bach in the saddle Slave to the grind Big Guns Here i am piece of me 18 and life Monkey business Stuck inside Australian Metalhead Bitchslap Live and die Stabbing daggers By your side I remember you You dont understand Youth gone wild Angel Down and there were 2 other songs which for the life of me cant remember now..........so total of 19 songs!!! the band sounded great, the sound was excellent. Bobby on drums was unbelievable. Metal mike and johnny very good too, and i love how rob de luca goes about it...he is awesome!!! and baz....well people couldnt believe just how good his vocal range is, the way he holds his notes. i feel like a little girl with all this excitement then the after show where baz and the band were having photos, signing autographs, drinking............all 5 of them were very approachable. awesome time had by all....especially me. and just a little hint.......they cant wait to start recording their new album.....start the countdown now ;D it was a real special show for the band, especially Baz as this is the hometown of Bon Scott. (Baz and Johnny visited his gravesite the day earlier).

Did ya get a Pic with Baz??? yeah i got a pic on my brothers camera, just waiting to get it off him. the venue was excellent, a lot better sound than the Dome where they played last year. we only had about 1000 people....there wasnt really much publicity and being on a tuesday nite probably didnt help.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I was pretty happy with the shots.
Youtube or my browser hung while I was uploading the video, so I've had to re-do it. I've set my home computer to upload while I'm at work. Youtube is blocked at work so I won't be able to update until another 8 hours.
I'm only on a 512k down / 128k up connection, so it takes a while to upload the 200+ MB video. If it completes while I'm at work you maybe able to find the video by searching youtube. My youtube username is BRMSlash, if it helps.

The kind of pictures I always dream I'll have at the end of the show

The camera used was my fiance's Fujifilm FinePix F31fd www.dpreview.com/news/0609/06092501fujif31fd.asp, set on auto. I tried a few different settings while the warm-up band were on, so by the time Baz and they guys came on I had the camera in pretty good shape. Only got a few blurry ones. I still had a hard time taking pictures of the drums for some reason. Previously, I've used my Fujifilm FinePix F10 and had pretty good results, although I had to resort to manual settings.

hey! thanks for the info (I'm about ready to toss mine... but I overpaid for it 8 years ago... so, dragging me feet a bit) Keith (he's a member here too_ took pictures of the guys last year in Japan) gave me a terrific suggestion of a Canon's PowerShot G9

Ok, I discovered the multi-video upload option in youtube. Seems to be a lot more stable with large files. I've uploaded my second video first as it was shorter/smaller. Check it out, Stuck Inside: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSEnXzig4n4Now that was successful, I'll try uploading Back in the Saddle.
