They are pretty well booked for most of the year. Sounded to me like you were only given the choice to go to another concert or get your money back However, didn't Bas say he'd be back to Austrailia maybe at the end of the year? Dogface? didn't you say something about that? Yeah thats right Kat he did say that they would be back later in the year!! I really dunno about that though, I mean they are playing everywhere now for most of the rest of 2008 so if they somehow get back here I will be AMAZED...and OVER THE MOON ;D Im thinking that maybe once the Poison tour is over they would probably take some time off and then regroup to record the next album...then again they have been here 3 times in 18months so anythings possible! OOOOOHHHHHH! I hope so. Baz said to us that he would see us "next time" but didn't extend on when "next time" would be.... fingers crossed. I would love to see him again.

It's really disappointing that they had to cancel. But since some of us here know people who were at "the Station" fire in Rhode Island, I would prefer to have some disappointed fans, and security err on the side of caution rather than have Baz, his band memebers and his fans put in a potentially dangerous situation.

For me it wasn't that the gig was deemed unsafe. I took one look in the door and knew it was unsafe. It was more the fact that we were turned away by some old dude with a sign and there has been no apology to fans, rescedule or even a promise to return. Just a refund or go to Newcastle which is a 10 hr round trip from Canberra. Impossible for those of us who have responsibilities or had already spent money coming from interstate.

Take a flight to San Fransisco and have a concert canceled on your TIME and see how you feel. Keep wearing your rose colored glasses and err on the side of ignorance.

I can understand your point. I had tix for at least 3 more cities when Baz dropped out of JCS. I lost money on that deal with airfare and hotels that charged a fee for flight cancellations and hotels that had already charged my credit card and couldn't understand that I wasn't going to use the room.

No. I am not pissed off at Rocknrollmom. I have had enough of ignorance. It isn't bliss to me in any way at all! I took the rose colored glasses off years ago...and things are darker than ever. This cost Bach and his band too.

Hey Bob, I didn't think you were mad at me. I just figured you were sort of sympathizing in your own way. I think anyone who follows a certain artist or band will eventually experience a show or shows or in some cases entire tours being cancelled. Unfortunately it still is disappointing when it happens, and yeah, sometimes it ends up costing fans money. In this case, I agree that it probably cost Baz not only money but time and in some cases, popularity. It was an unfortunate, no win situation.
