Well damn, I'm a newbie here guys, Honoured to be here. Saw Baz and the boys in our fair town of Newcastle last night. They were smokin'. Band sounded awesome, very loud, and Baz was unbelieveable. His screams are so big. Damn !!! Loved the new stuff, bitchslap, back in the saddle, were noteable fave's. Monkey business and slave were incredible. Thought that By your side sank a little bit live unfortunately, don't know why 'cause I like the song but it just didn't get a big pop. All in all though I was in awe of Baz, man he's great, and he get's into it so much. God bless his undying love of REAL ROCK & ROll. So many pretenders, thank god for the die hards like Baz, few and far between. I hope Angel down get it's due, it's a mastepiece rock albulm, an instant classic.

Newcastle show was awesome! Although there were issues with accoustics (Baz was clearly not happy about it) the show rocked, the audience were a lot more responsive than the the Enmore and it was a fantastic show. Also, thanks to the tips from people on this board (Aussiegirl and the other person - I will find your entry in a minute - who shared the info about meeting Baz at the stage door around 6.15pm in QLD ) ;DI GOT TO MEET BAZ ;D - seems to be a successful tour for a lot of Aussie fans that way! I have pictures but don't know how to put them on the computer yet so once I work it out, will share them with you all. Baz was so cool, very approachable and signed lots of stuff for fans together with allowing us to get photos with him. I LOVE his voice in real life! I asked him to sign the cover of my angel down disc and was shaking that bloody much it was hard for him to sign. Anyway, the actual gig was awesome. He told us that he had his first indoor concert rained out in Canberra (I feel so sorry for the Canberra fans coz I also contemplated the three hour drive to get there but went to Newcastle coz it was two hours). Baz really seemed to enjoy the concert himself and the fans were a lot more into it than at the Enmore (though I think the type of venue helped with this). He opened with Back in the Saddle (same as Enmore) but then changed the set list around a little. He did (not in order coz I can't remember) Stuck Inside, Slave to the Grind, Big Guns, Monkey Business, Piece of Me, 18 and Life, By My Side, I Remember You, You Don't Understand, Love is a Bitchslap, "Australian" Metalhead, Youth Gone Wild and finished with Angel Down - there must have been more but can't remember them at the moment! All in all, a WONDERFUL night - probably the best Baz/Skid Row concert I have been to! I finally met Baz after 18 years of being a fan (could be slightly longer?) and he certainly didn't let us fans waiting for him down. THANKS HEAPS TO ALL ON THE BOARD WHO HAVE SHARED THEIR INFO AND TIPS - WITHOUT YOUR TIPS I PROBABLY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MEET BAZ!!!!!!! You guys rock, SEBASTIAN rocks. I am on such a high! Ditto. I think Baz said he is off to Norway next. Hope the Norwegian fans have the same success that us Aussie fans have had! Baz has ROCKED Oz and its now your turn NORWAY! Sebastian's band goes to Norway next? Kiss just played there and soaked up everyones discretionary non utilities money... so strike one is the canberra show..what's strike 2? Now why is this? STP just played the PNC in holmdel and Sebastian is around the world away from the big acts so far. There better be good stuff come out of this for the next CD or get rid of your fuckin management.
