Went to the Nissan Pavilion show last night in DC, and all I can say is WOW! My 1st Bach show but definitely not my last.
Got there at around 6 when they 1st opened the gates, got some food and blew $120 bucks on shirts before Baz started. I wish Poison would stop dealing with FanFire, they sure know how to jack up shirt prices don't they? Anyway Baz started around 6:55 with Back In The Saddle and kept it going with Slave and Stuck Inside. I knew he had energy but man! One of the highest energy frontmen I've ever seen and Metal Mike was amazing too. Even though this was definitely a Poison crowd, most of them seemed really into Baz also. Sound was pretty bad though, in the songs I didn't know all the words to (only a few) I had a hard time understanding him. Still a great set though.
Setlist:
Saddle
Slave
Stuck Inside
18 & Life
American Metalhead
Stabbin' Daggers (wasn't expecting this one, has he played it at any of the Poison shows yet?)
Monkey Business
You Don't Understand
I Remember You
Youth Gone Wild
Dokken hit the stage at around 8, they put on an awesome show too. Don is still in good voice and Jon Levin was amazing. Don said his mom died before they did "In My Dreams", so I send my best wishes to Don and his family and congratulate him for playing inspite of this. Sound was also better then for Baz.
Setlist:
Kiss Of Death
Into The Fire
Standing On The Outside (new song)
Just Got Lucky
Breaking The Chains
Alone Again
Tooth and Nail
In My Dreams
Poison hit the stage at around 9:15, I really enjoyed their show but they could really change it up some. It was virtually the same as last year and even a bit shorter. But they put on a good show every time and really know how to work up a crowd.
Setlist:
Look What The Cat Dragged In
I Want Action
Ride The Wind
I Won't Forget You
What I Like About You
CC Guitar Solo
Something To Believe In
Your Mama Don't Dance
Rikki Drum Solo
Unskinny Bop
Every Rose Has It's Thorn
Fallen Angel
Talk Dirty To Me
Encore:
Nothin But A Good Time
This was a great show, I hope everyone on here who hasn't gets to see this tour at some point.
