Dr Pepper to Deliver On Its Free-Soda PromiseFriday, November 21, 2008 Associated Press LOS ANGELES — Dr Pepper is making good on its promise of free soda now that the release of Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" is a reality. The soft-drink maker said in March that it would give a free soda to everyone in America if the album dropped in 2008. "Chinese Democracy," infamously delayed since recording began in 1994, goes on sale Sunday. Guns N' Beatles: Axl Rose and Paul McCartney Storm MySpace. "We never thought this day would come," Tony Jacobs, Dr Pepper's vice president of marketing, said in a statement. "But now that it's here, all we can say is: The Dr Pepper's on us." Beginning Sunday at 12:01 a.m., coupons for a free 20-ounce soda will be available for 24 hours on Dr Pepper's Web site. Ace tells me that Dr Pepper and Southern goes down a treat...I still havent given this mix a go yet but I plan on doing it this week sometime...obviously we dont get a free Dr Pepper here in Oz but in honour of this awesome album im gonna go and buy one and try Ace's recipie whilst listening to the album again!

Ace tells me that Dr Pepper and Southern goes down a treat...I still havent given this mix a go yet but I plan on doing it this week sometime...obviously we dont get a free Dr Pepper here in Oz but in honour of this awesome album im gonna go and buy one and try Ace's recipie whilst listening to the album again! Na us Ozzies get no DR Pepper... and good-luck finding it apparently is no longer stocked in Australia... I have looked everywhere for it to try it with southern like Ace suggested...So if you find some let me know.... |

Oh really we cant get it anymore?? Damn...never thought of that! Check out the Chinese grocers, they often stock imports. I know of a couple that sell Dr Pepper...in fact, I'm almost certain the one on Melbourne central does (sorry Aussiegirl) |

If I'm awake, I'm planning to go the traditional route. I have a bottle of chamapgne in the fridge. But I don't make any special effort to stay up. I will probably go the movies with my hubby. He has post traumatic stress from Viet Nam, and the firecrackers upset him. Out here in Hawaii, the fireworks are legal, and it's very noisy. So out to movies we go.

am i the only one who hates the taste of dr peppers ? i tasted it right after i found out what it is (thanks to guys who answered my post years ago lol ) i kinda hated it. dunno maybe i will get used to it if i could drink more often.. anyways, me wants my free dr pepper even if i dont like the taste. free stuff <3 |

I don't really care for it either. If you only have it, I will drink it, but my soft drinke of choice is Coke. But like you say - free stuff.
