GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose is suffering from an ear infection and strep throat, according to a press release. Rose was first diagnosed with the ear infection on November 20 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was seen again by a doctor last night following the band's show in Chicago and ordered to rest for a few days. The tour will continue as scheduled Friday night (December 1) in Ames, Iowa at Hilton Coliseum. I'm bummed of course because i opted for the milwaukee show v.s the headliner show tonight b/c travelwise i physically couldn't do it but axl can't help he got sick and i'm thankful i got to go lastnight. the show was a blast. the opening opener was actually pretty good<can't think of their name at the moment>.......the suicide girls were alittle less to be desired<personal opinion>. SEBASTIAN WAS FREAKINGGGGG AWESOME!!! he played for like an hour an 10 minutes b/c near the end of his set someone came out and talked to baz and i qoute baz saying"4 more songs? i don't know 4 moreeee songs!!!!" i sat there going what??? dude out of all the songs you have done and you can't think of atleast 4? i can lol but he ended up doing blade, i remember you and youth gone wild at the end. metal mike was right in front of us most of the night and he is a totally cool guy and can he play!!! i love the new stuff and can't wait to hear AND BUYYYY the new cd but it just seems to me that BAZ is kinda disgusted with the record labels plus since this whole you tube/myspace thing he's kinda got the attitude that he doesn't care if it ever comes out b/c he thinks ppl only dl music off these sites rather than to buy it which i hope he reads this and knows that's just not true. true fans will buy the cd then some.and axl was good. he did actually put alot of effort into his set. his voice was too low probably 1/2 way thru the show then they turned his mic up and it was ok then. the solos were all good but most of the ppl i heard was bitching b/c they want GNR and NOT solos.my personal opinion is GNR kicked ass and to me this isn't the 'true' GNR nor would i expect them to be the same with baz and his old band if you know what i mean? when bands break up and reform another band they are just that....ANOTHER band but i do give axl a fair rating for getting back out there. if this needs to be posted in a different area for the chicago show then you can move it josh but i originally started posting due to the cancelled milwaukee show. that's my review of the chicago show guys. ;D jojo

Ya know everyone gets sick & calls off of work! Axl is human & has been Kicking ass this whole tour. It really sucks that people bring up the past every time something goes wrong. Now seeing That he is on the road Rocking Partying & obviously not getting a whole lot of sleep. The fact that he got sick dose not surprise me but hey it happens, think about how many times you have called off of work for being sick & cut the man some slack.
