I wrote this on another board about Metal and Spirituality and as it has to do with Sebastian and Angel Down, I wanted to post it here as well, maybe Sebastian will see it.
So here is my Metal Scripture: I like to call it the Scripture of Bach!
And low the Gods saw the Darkness that existed at the end of the 80s and they were displeased. There were no longer great Metal lords with mighty Pipes to call down the Thunder anymore and preach their scriptures, they saw that fans wanted a great singer, but low do not fear for a young Vocal God was sent to us.
His Name was Sebastian Bach, and Low The Gods saw that this young lord with his Almighty Throat of Doom, would not only call down the Thunder but bring the lighting as well, and soon fans came to see the light again as Sebastian preached to the Faithful!
Yet, a sad chapter was to be written at the end of the 90's as the Devil called forth his evil minions to vanquish all bands and fans before them. In Darkness Metal languished laid waste to by the evil powers of Grunge.
But Fear Not my brothers, for a Savior was to be sent back from the ashes by the Gods to resurrect our music and all it stood for and to smite its enemy's. This Savior was known to all as the Great Lord Bach.
With his releases of "Bringing them Bach Alive" and " Frameshift Absence of Empathy", Metal was beginning to come back, then in 2007, The Ultimate Scripture for the ages called the faithful to worship once again at its sacred altar " Angel Down" was released to Hungry Metal Fans who had languished in Grunge hell to long..
With songs like "Back in the Saddle Again,Love is a Bitchslap and Negative Light", as well as the Almighty Hymn for the young and old fans alike "American Metal Head" the power of Grunge was dead!
Thus with this the Gods smiled as the Devil and his minions were sent back to hell and there children were happy again. As our Lord Sebastian Bach Declared once and for Fucking all that Metal Ruled!
