Tuesday, February 3, 2009 chinese-democracy.blogspot.com/2009/02/slash-and-friends.htmlIt seems as if we’re looking at a late-May release for Slash’s first-ever "solo" album, which has a working title of Slash and Friends. Featured vocalists include: Fergie, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz, B Real, Gavin Rossdale, Royston Langdon, Sebastian Bach, Perry Farrell, Steven Tyler and Alice Cooper. Supposedly, Matt Sorum, Lars Ulrich, Stephen Perkins and Chad Smith all play drums on the disc. Last Fall, Sebastian Bach said that Slash’s album was going to be "mind-blowing."..... Slash and Friends will play the Quart Festival in July 2009.The Quart Festival is an annual popular music festival that takes place in Kristiansand, Norway in the beginning of July. They canceled out last year soooo... not sure about 2009(?) AND according to this link below, it starts June 30 and Slash is kicking it off (?) STAY TUNED www.visitnorway.com/en/Articles/Theme/What-to-do/Whats-on/The-Quart-Festival/ *

It took me a minute to put two and two together. This is the same "project" that people were asking about on Sebastian's facebook page. Sebastian has said it wasn't true over there as well. I figure with two albums and a DVD hopefully coming out in 2009 we are gonna be some happy fans!

Yep. Its amazing how some people can create a page and to borrow bits and pieces from other sources and then include their own assumptions. Because first off, the first line of that blog mentions that its Slash's first "solo" album ever. Not true. (Slash's Snakepit) before Velvet Revolver. Dead give away there. And then you take the name "Slash and Friends" that Slash's wife mentions here rockerrazzi.com/www.rockerrazzi.com/MAIN.htmljust a borrowed working title hence the name (Sebastian Bach and Friends). And then someone automatically associates that with Sebastian's first solo CD. Gee, how brilliant!!! And then you add this www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.Net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=108302 which we are all aware of this site. And then you have this where Slash talks about his solo album but does not disclose any names. www.nme.com/news/slash/40099And okay, and here is one more. Notice the picture. Gee, I wonder where they "borrowed" the picture from? www.nme.com/news/slash/41261 And then they scramble all of the information and take the incentive to create what ever they want out of all the bits and pieces just to create mis-information. Because they truly believe that they have psychic powers and can lay down these false predictions to be facts. LOL!!!! Thanks for posting this for us, Kat. Because its better to be addressed now rather than any of us reading upon it later, though. And to have our hope up for something that isn't true.
