With regards to the Paul Stanley thing....when the Tickets went on sale you could also purchase the Meet n Greet ticket at $250 dollards....mind you, the tickets for the first half of the venue (about 15 - 20 rows) were ALSO $250 bucks...so to see Paul live and meet him for 30 seconds you had to pay $500 AUSTRALIAN Dollars ($413.00 U.S).....now, im a MASSIVE KISS fan, have been for 30 years, but there was no way in hell I was going to pay that kind of money. I went to the show, and it was fantastic, but I paid the "reasonable" price of $90 bucks for my ticket up the back. Paul Stanley is fantastic, dont get me wrong, but $500 bucks......STICK IT!!! Not quite right. $250 total. Front row tickets, the 20 dead in the middle were $250. This included your ticket, meet and greet. As well you got a T-shirt, and a cap. The t-shirts were selling for $45. The other seats around these premium tickets, including the 2nd and 3rd row were $140 each. Ticket $140 T-shirt $45 Cap $25 Total $210. So for an extra $40 you got to meet Paul, as well as be front row, which in Sydney and Melbourne, meant you could touch him, steal his guitar picks etc.

As for Baz, I was lucky enough to meet him twice last year. Once backstage with KISS at the Udo Fuji festival in Japan, and then after the Sydney gig. Cool dude!

Sorry everyone, a bit off-track hereAbout that 'Dead Man Walking' thing. I got the name wrong I meant 'Waking Up Dead', lazy dill that I am. I should have gone back and checked the name but couldn't be bothered. Sorry Kat. But anyway, there are some clips of it available on myspace and they give a good impression of what it's all about ie the dark side of the music business. Very interesting (esp. for old Skid Row fans) and sad. The link to the Blabbermouth article and the piece is below: www.roadrun.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=72295"Waking Up Dead", a film about the seedy underworld of '80s metal as seen through the eyes of SKID ROW and SAIGON KICK member Phil Varone, will receive its long-awaited DVD release on June 26 via MVD Visual. The unflinching documentary was directed by Emmy Award-winning journalist Fabio Jafet and was filmed over a four-year period. Bands contributing to the soundtrack include TEMPLE OF BRUTALITY (featuring former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson and ex-W.A.S.P. drummer Stet Howland), MATT KRAMER (ex-SAIGON KICK), BEFORE BRAILLE, FIVESPEED, RANDY COLEMAN, MINDFLOWER, CREASE and F5 (featuring former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson). Varone previously said about the movie, "I traded everything … my family, friends and finances … all for my addictions and the world of sex, drugs and rock and roll. 'Waking Up Dead' is a great lesson on life for anyone who watches it." A preview of "Waking Up Dead" may be seen on the film's web site, WakingUpDeadMovie.com. HHmmmm....well I may stand corrected but Ticketmaster (Ticketek...whoever) Told me at the time it was $250 for the Seat AND $250 for the Meet N Greet.....maybe they stuffed up...if so, then I stand corrected.
Still too much to pay though.
