This is really out of order, but may be a simple (if inexcusable) mistake.
Let's face it, SR now are always going to be 'the band that Sebastian Bach was in' no matter who they get to attempt to fill his shoes). For me, there is only one Skid Row, and that band finished with the departure of Sebastian! It seems Tulsa World can't get their heads around the idea of SR minus Baz either!
Not only are they discussing SR's appearance this year using Sebastian's own work and image, which is dodgy to say the least, but they are also implying that he's appearing in Skid Row this year, by using the caption 'Skid Row's Sebastian Bach performing....' for the picture (unless I woke up in a bizarre alternative universe featuring a reconciled SR this morning).
I cannot imagine Sebastian will be pleased to see his work and image being used in connection with that name, no matter how much it reminds people that the band just aint the same without him. Tulsa World need to sort it out!

Sebastian, I totally know your frustration, I remember telling you that last yr when they played here at the county fair<LOL>that they were advertising SEBASTIAN BACH!!! Is this truly the only way they can make their money or do they do this to piss you off b/c obviously you REAL fans know that you are NOT playing with them. Is there not anything legally that you can do to stop this kind of advertising? what can we do to help Sebastian? jojo |

btw... if anyone does send an e-mail .. If you have the time, (which I didn't, just had time to call), maybe re-educate on what Baz has been doing since seperating from SR?. Sounds like it was a case of Jennifer being clueless. Who knows? They may even do a follow up story?  ? (just a suggestion) |

How is it that people like these -- albeit it nice ones, and I'm sure they are --- are running a huge music festival like Rocklahoma when they don't even seem to follow music enough to know that Sebastian isn't with Skid Row anymore?!!! Even if they are just taking care of the 'business side' of things, you'd think they'd care enough about the music and the musicians involved to know THAT much! I know I'm probably being overly critical, but I would have thought that they'd have to care about the music they are promoting/presenting to do their job really well. How many real music lovers would give their eye teeth for a job like that!!!! |
