Does sebastian play any instruments apart from using his voice?? I kind of recall an episode of gilmour girls in which he was strumming an acoustic and singing "hollaback girl".......

That is a good question, I think he plays a little guitar but beyond that I don't know.

A little guitar & drums,he was keeping a beat on Forever Wild when the band did musical chairs & also has a credit to guitar on The Last Hard Men CD & The guitar in the Holla back girls was an electric fender strat, but Baz was not playing it was a prop.

If he properly learns to play an instrument it will help his songwriting a lot.... He might be able to compose chord sequences on his own... But why doesn't learn to play the piano?? How does he practice his italian vocal scales at home if he doesn't how to play a piano?? How would he know which scale he's singin'??

Im guessing, just a thought, that as a professional singer / musician for the past 20 odd years that he would have learnt to play an instrument other than his vocal cords....I would be VERY surprised if he had'nt.

After a while scales can become second nature but I would guess he brings a cd on tour with him to practice with or maybe he is just that good at them that he does them from memory but I'm just guessing.

There was an article years ago in a Metal mag where Baz said he owned a piano & new a few lines to John Lennon's Imagine. He has used his vocals to construct chords. He tapes them with a Dictaphone,he came up with Slave to the grind. Baz would sound awesome singing Imagine

geez I couldn't "Imagine" him singing that...OMG that would so RULE!!!!!!!!!!!! That would suck! Good question Ace why WOULD it suck? Anything Baz sings is great.. I heard a recording of him singing Amazing Grace. And that was beautiful! Far as the various instruments go I would not at all be surprised to find out that he knows a bit about a few of them...he's so musically inclined.

I'd love to hear him sing 'Hallelujah'.
Hopefully he'd sing it more like the Jeff Buckleyversion than some people have - it's supposed to be a desolate 'cold and broken' song. I think Baz's voice could really do it justice.
