That is just f'in RUDE! Maybe SR should now be billed in the same way as Queen and Paul Rogers - now there's a band that understands that their original singer will always be too much of a legend for anyone else to really take his place! It would at least ensure that people wouldn't be expecting to see Baz and then be disappointed... I hope Baz got some royalties for it! Fx

That is disgusting wow... now who does this obviously the promoter and you wonder is it they are stupid and have no clue or they do it deliberately to trick fans that have no clue Sebastian is no longer in the band ? hoping to sell more tickets..

I just sent them an email... Asking if they knew they used Baz's voice in the promo. I ask if they paid Baz a royalty. I told them I figured people do this because they know Baz will sell more tix than Johnny. rockhouse@halfwayjam.com

How low.. I think it´s time SR to quit.. when they or who ever it is, has to sell tickets that way. I´ve heard a lot of rumors to.. SR must know that they, made the biggest mistake ever, and now they´re paying for it.

I suspect they'll ignore it because they either don't want to admit they made a mistake, because they don't care and they know people will be more likely to attend to see SR with Baz or because they can't discuss royalties. There is one thing good to come out of the rumours of Baz playing with SR, and that is that I'm positive that people will go and check out what Sebastian is doing after they find out he's not going to be there. It's all publicity! Sebastian Bach... Accept no ImitationsFx

get over it people, 18 and life is a skid row song and it's their biggest hit. yeah they do that to sell more tickets, so do kiss, so does every band (ITS SMART)... if you are doing promo to sell a show... you have a part of your biggest hit (or some of the video) in the ad so people know who you are... just like how kiss plays stuff from their old video clips with ace but when you get there you get stuck with tommy (tommy rocks by the way)...
every skid row fan knows sebastian aint in skid row anymore and guess what??? angel down kicked so much ass that we dont care... only a complete tool would go to a SR gig expecting to see baz (his voice in the promo or not)..
when the skids hit oz in october i will be there knowing full well who is in the band - because anybody who spends money without research is a dumbass...
WHO CARES WHO'S VOICE IS IN THE PROMO -
i know some of you think the new skids is not skids without baz - but if this is true then kiss aint kiss with out ace and peter, GNR aint gnr without slash and duff, every band in history that stays around has line up changes (their is no way around this)...
gotta eat some doughnuts finish rant later
PS BAZ RULES...

I think that as the vocalist is very often the most distinctive feature of the band, many bands' identities are built around their frontmen. Yes 18 and Life is a big SR hit, but the fact that it is still used to promote their latest tour brings sharply into focus the fact that they are still selling tickets off the back of their old lineup's work. Baz on the other hand... ~jus' sayin'~ Fx

It's a good idea to go to the venues outside wearing Angel Down t-shirts. I wouldn't pay a cent for them. I want to maintain a good image of Skid Row.

I'm going to see ""Skid Row"" in November too. Of course it's not the same because Baz is not there & their new singer is pretty bad (or at least I don't like him) but Rachel & Snake have done some of the best music I've ever heard & I won't miss the chance to see them when I can.
About the promo thing I agree with Mick Sander. I think if you criticize SR you should criticize Baz too for playing '18 And Life' or "Piece Of Me' when he didn't write those songs & he wants to make clear he's not in that band anymore. It is a rip off when there are rumours of him being in the band (or old photos or stuff like that) because you may go thinking that you're going to see him there, but there's nothing wrong about putting a song that THEY wrote & that they're going to play.
Also there's something that is true & obvius, Skid Row will never be able to get rid of Sebastian because he's just too good to be replaced. Everytime I see / hear a Skid row commercial with Sebastian on there I think on how great & important he is!
I don't like AussieGirl's idea, I think if you like the old SR albums you gotta show some respect for those guys whether you like or not what they're doing nowadays. If you don't like their new music or the way they sound now, the best way to express it is not showing up, but I don't think there's a reason to be harsh at them.
