This is how I have to start this thread. Me and my friends had so much fun! I got a setlist in Turku and also in Tampere so I'll tell you all the songs in order but later. Met all of them. Have fun pix. My friend will also give me more pix later.
I have slept abt 7h in two nites, drinking quite heavily for three nites and we're still up... Up all nite, sleep all day. Just wishing.
You wanna hear something hilarious? Tomorrow =today when I'll be bach home I have to go (I'm invited) to my daughter's music playschool's x-mas party and they will be playing triangles and stuff like that there. Mom'll be looking like a monster and showing \m/ and banging head. jk.

Hahaha I did that a couple of years ago...saw Baz, got home at 4am, drunk, and had to get up at 7am to go to my Sons school and PERFORM a couple of Acoustic songs for the kids!!!
My voice was SHOT to pieces, my hands were shaking, his Teacher looked at me (she knew I was going out the night before because my Wife had told her the day before) and said "Have you had ANY sleep at all?" So I know how you feel Papillon, but im SO HAPPY for you that you have got out there and enjoyed yourself....great stuff

Sebastian Bach in Pakkahuone Tampere 13th December 2009 Before I sat in my car behind the wheel I walked to the Police station to be sure that I can drive. After that we hopped in my car with Piia and drove from Turku to Tampere and listened to Angel Down, surprise surprise! I almost bought new boots but as a woman who can’t find cooler boots than mine, I decided to use my old boots. Just doing some tuning so I could use them one day more. We didn’t have much time before show so just a quick lunch and little wine and then we headed to Pakkahuone. There we met Piia’s brother Petri. The Grammers were again an opening band. Again they played well. We stood on the second line and saw well to the stage. On the first line were young boys (ok, more than 18 years old but little boys anyway). It was so fun to see how exited they were too. The crowd went nuts when Sebastian Bach & co. began to play. They played loud and sounded great. There were plenty of people, could have been sold out too, even the show was on Sunday. It was so great to hear Sebastian’s new songs again! Liked those a lot! I can’t wait to buy his new album. I hope that comes out soon. It seemed like Nick fit in that band well. He’s talented young musician and I’m sure we’ll hear more of him later. Sebastian lifted up a guy from the audience to the stage and they yelled Youth Gone Wild to the mike. That dude has the same Youth tattoo as Sebastian has got. (this happened in Turku not in Tampere!) We were lucky to end up again to the backstage. That was so fun! Before that we talked with Rob and Nick. Nick was quite excited about the snow. He hadn’t seen it many times in his lifes. I brought Bobby some Finnish candies: Turkisk pepper salmiak (hot, hot, hot!!), and chocolate with berries. I’d like to hear what our test person liked about them. Maybe some day. ;-) I took some videos there with my camera. I asked Baz to sing for me. You know what? He was so kind and sang. You will never ever see that video because there’s some stupid old cow who’s singing with him. You guess who’s that cow? Yes, me Papillon. Once again I felt I should duck tape my mouth. I’m so fucking embarrassed but sure it’s funny. I won’t show it even to Sebastian, never ever. Ok, that’s one thing for sure that I’ll never forget. I think my cheeks are blushing when I even think about it. Baz kind of seemed to know that I know pretty much of his business… how come… ha ha. We took some pix, chatted with band members for a while and soon it was time to leave. I really felt for the guys, they had to be at the airport before 5.45 am. In Tampere it was so COLD that I could only imagine how it would feel like to wake up only after couple hours of sleep and go outside where’s freaking cold. That was one of coldest days in this winter so far. Those were the best three days of year 2009. Definitely! Now I’ve got lots of funny memories. You guys are all so fun and great! But sure wanted to share my heavy tour 09 with BachBoard members. I’ll keep these reviews on my Myspace page like the previous reviews too. When there’ ll be a sad or tough day I can read this and it sure will bring a smile back to my face. Sebastian does that always to me. Hugs Sweetie! just wanted to add a comment to moe's comment I AGREE Nick is damn good yes he is! I was amazed and proud of Baz's choice.
posted alot tonight but I haven't been feeling the greatest health the past few months so I usually pop in to read everyone's posts then out but there were some really good posts and I had to respond. I still come and read & enjoy all your stories etc....I'm exstatic for those of you who recent got to see Baz and the band and for those fortunate enough to meet him as well. Happy you're feeling better Ace and glad to see Keith is bach woohoo!!! All still one big happy family.
I hope you all have very happy holidays with your families and friends and Sebastian included.

Nick is really damn good. Crazy he is so young and that damn talented. Aerosmith's Walk This Way lick with tricks n shit. It's alright. This guy Nick has great technique. Could tell in 15 seconds he has the fire. The rest of the song is more bonus of listenening to guitar sound i personaly enjoy. Hey...and guess what? Before i wrote before i hadn't heard the solo! Now THAT is original and not the usual puke i have been hearing on the radio! Excellent really good. Thanks for this! |
