**no hand up*** Dang!.. We've had 27 inches overnight of Snow.. I'm calling my 5th plowing service (no one answers their phone! lol)- and the locals are calling it a state of emergency.. -- so , on with the snow boots to grab a shovel! It'll be several hours till I can get out of my driveway. - Wish I had planned for it now. I'd probably be one of 500 cars between Pittsburgh and Starland . I'd have the road to myself with the exception of the Baz Freaks! .. haha Baz would never cancel a show... RIGHT ON!!! . PARTY HEARTY!! Be careful getting there!! Can't wait to hear all about it!. (dang! hope you guys have electricity - some lines are down over your way I hear) We'll be there is spirit! *

Hey Mark, thanks for the pardon, I really wanted to be there, I want to yell at Baz for playing now. He couldn't have waited a few weeks. I will be in NY on March 12. I am about to be a grandma for the first time. My daughter is due March 7th. Oh well, I knew I would have togive up a few things to live in paradise. Please give me and the rest of us a full report when you get home.

lol@ "the pardon"...had a great time!! just got home (we stayed over), but my body is screaming at me!! I'll give a full update in a bit..but i need a pounding hot shower right about now...be back soon! I gotta admit,.. I'm a little jealous .... that's one heck of a LONG shower! ;D everyone is a freakin' comedian!! lol...when your feelin' long in the tooth, you NEED a freakin' long shower!! ;D anyway, i had a super bowl party to go to sunday afternoon, and got rushed out the door, so i'll review now. deb n myself got to the starland about 710pm, just after the doors opened, and the line moved pretty quickly (about 5 minutes), so I figured we were screwed on getting a good spot, but people were still wandering around inside so we ended up with 2 people in front of us, right dead center in front of baz! it didn't bother me any cuz i'm 6'2"+, but it would've been nicer to be right on the rail. oh well! couldn't find anyone from the board there ('brat, 'charmer??) which surprised me. i was like a light tower, doing 360's trying to locate people, but to no avail. i figured, "if they're here, they'll be able to see me (i stand out in a crowd lol)", but no luck. hopefully they were there, cuz it was a great show! not just 1 or 2, but ALL 4 of the openers for baz were really good, and really got the crowd going. just before last opener went on, i spotted johnny wandering from 1 side to the other, to head back stage...so i caught up to him, and introduced myself and wished him luck. approx 1045pm, the baz band take their spots on stage, and the intro to "never turn ur back on rocknroll" is being pumped in to lead to baz taking the stage, and of course, there's a problem with the bass cabinet, so (cue in mark thinking to self, "take 2") they quickly solve it, the intro again, and baz hits the stage to "bach in the saddle". ok, now everyone knows the set list from the previous headliners on this tour, and he didn't drop any or ad any songs from the list, so i'm not gonna try and name them, you all know what the list is. (<pats self on the back>"tells self, way to tap dance around the set list...lol"). highlights for me were, baz spots me, gives the big wide eyed mouth open look to me, and points at me (that made me smile)...during "stuck inside", where axle's part should be (...you know your feelings chaaaaange...)they dont sing it, or have it pumped in...so me being me,i raise my hands out, in wondering pose, and look to the skies (searching for axle's voice), johnny chromatic sees me and we laugh...and lastly, i catch rob deluca's eye for a second, and flash him the "spread eagle" hand sign to show him respect for his past work...those were the 3 personal highlights for me. favorite song was "american metalhead"! the crowd really went wild for it (i know i did!!)...on a side note, was kind of surprised that not all the people around me, knew all the words to the ANGEL DOWN songs, both guys n girls...the new stuff i can understand, but no excuse for not singing along to the AD material...unless they were just in awe...lol nick's guitar playing was real good! he seems real comfortable with the band, and it showed with his playing and stage presence!! i'm glad his sound was on the same level as johnny's, because on my of the youtube stuff i saw from the previous shows, his sound was always lower. the only negatives were, aside from the normal moron fans who try to squeeze their way in front of you for the last few songs (which of course WASN'T HAPPENIN'!!), i recall rob having another problem with his bass cabinet, and baz was having constant problems either with his ear piece, monitor, or sound level consitency. i'm not talkin the usual, first song problems that seem to occur, i'm talking adjusting of his sound level, while he's holding a note (first soft, then loud, then soft)!! you can tell he was REALLY getting pissed, and let out a few "oh f*ck this sh*t" screams, which really proved to me, that it wasn't his voice, it was definitely the system. all in all, a fantastic and fun night, but as i mentioned before, minus a few friends from the board to share the moments with . i wanted to stay afterwards, and bs with him during the meet n greet, but to be honest, my calves cramped up so much during the show (standing in the same tight spot for 5 hours), that my legs felt numb...i didn't think standing around for another hour on line to chat, was very smart, so off me n deb went to grab a cab and go to our room to spend that time more productively, so to speak !! (insert evil chuckle). deb took some cell phone pics (this time they let cameras in...wtf?!?!), cuz we didn't bring our camera this time, after it got confiscated the last time at the starland, so i will upload them and post the ones that came out good, and not blurry, later on. time to get ready for work, and hopefully, get out in time to get to mulcahys for tonight's show!!

And we even got a review from Sebastian himself!! Good stuff.
Well what can I say NEW JERSEY !! I am really blown away by what happened Saturday Night in Sayreville New Jersey. We played Worcester the night before & the whole Eastern part of the United States was bracing for what would turn out to be a record breaking snowfall. We had to drive from Worcester to New Jersey Saturday morning for our 10th show in 10 cities in 2 countries in 11 nights (!) & the snow started hitting us on the NJ Turnpike at around 7am. By the time we got to near my house the snow had reached half a foot in depth & driving the bus was treacherous especially with the trailer on the back hauling all our gear. We actually could not drive to my house because the roads were impassible. My buddy Ed came to pick me up in the parking lot of a Barnes & Noble which was the only place we could find where we could turn the bus around in half a foot of snow that was still falling at an extremely rapid clip. I was sure there would be no show that night. It was now 8am, I was deperate to get to sleep, but I was positive that Starland would cancel the show. The storm had virtually shut down the I-95 corridor & travel all along the Eastern US had come to a standstill. If the show was going to be cancelled, it wouldn't be me who would cancel. I don't cancel shows. I was sure the show would be resheduled for another day. When I woke up around 4 pm I was astonished to learn that the Starland Ballroom still wanted us to play! For whom I thought? Obviously noone would come out on a night like this. Driving to the gig was like driving on the moon. Reminded me of a gig we did in Treviso (Venice) Italy in December, where Europe shut down 'cause of snow & driving to that gig was just like this. Not a human being in site. Hardly any cars on the road, just 4 wheelers, salt trucks & snowplows. As we drove I prepared for the worst. I know the Show Must Go On but I just could not imagine the show being well attended in this storm. When we pulled into the parking lot, New Jersey you BLEW MY MIND ! The parking lot was overflowing & I couldn't beleive it. With every newscaster saying 'stay home & dig out tomorrow' it was just unbelivable to arrive at the Starland Ballroom to a SOLD OUT SHOW. Not only did we sell out the gig, the promoter told me 400 more people got tickets to this gig than the last time I played there. The gig was packed , hot, sweaty, loud, & fun... on a night outside that was none of those things! I can't thank you enough New Jersey! Sayreville is the town where Skid Row was born & you all sure let me know that Saturday night! I'll never forget all your support on such a crazy night !! Thanks again, from the whole band & crew! Which brings us to tonight LONG ISLAND !! Unbeleivably, the forecast is again calling for a crazy-ass snowstorm that is due to start AFTER our show tonight at Mulcahy's in Long Island ! That's alot better than what we had to deal with Saturday in NJ. We have already loaded all our gear into Mulcahy's & BELEIVE ME we are going to KICK ASS tonight for our last North American show for the forseeable future! The forecast says the snow will start around 2 am Wednesday morning, we will be done around 12:30 ! No problem tonight at all. We will be the ones loading our gear out into the snow after the show & driving home in the storm! Don't you worry about none of that Long Island rockers, leave the messy part to us, just come out & ROCK OUT you will have fun & be home by the time the blizzard hits! We are gonna kill it tonight in Long Island ! See you in a couple of hours ! Hey we are sending out ALL merch this week! If you have been waiting for your merch, don't worry, it is all being sent out this week. We have been touring like mad dogs & there has been no time for anything but stage. All merch will be sent out this week & we have Angel Down Hoodies, All over t's, & glitter shirts that will be for sale online soon! Gotta destroy Long Island tonight first !! Thanks to all of you who have been coming to the shows since December! This has been an incredible 2 months of Rock N' Roll!! Sebastian

Paul about kicked her ass as she tried to hit him to get into our place! Cops came and hauled that bitch away. said she was on crack or meth. Glad we were home to stop her (she tried to break into some places in the upper floors and got chased by 2 chicks trying to kick her ass) We would have left by the time she started it! Couldn't imaging what I'd have come back to. Thank God everything was ok though. I really missed being there. But with snow and paul having to go to work early the next morning, (they had him on a list but he didn't get the day). I hope he does a few more shows at some point. We miss u and Deb.
