Actually quite surprised noone has yet to comment but hey I've been in your shoes and know you had a killer good time and THAT'S WHAT MATTERS! Great pics to on facebook btw. You should see if the lab can maybe lighten the up a bit?

AHHHHHHHhhhhhh!!!!! What can I say, I've waited 11 YEARS to see Baz live - travelled up from Brighton to London 02 to see Baz and Guns on the 14th at the 02 - he was awesome! We were the only ones in the seated bit standing up and rocking out. guns equally awesome - and to see Duff.....Next on our jaunt across the country was Leamington. Front row centre. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. - it was soo good to hear a crowd really give him the support he deserves - with me singing and rocking and finger waggle mimicking away (which he noticed and pointed out at me - awesome). that should have been the end of our adventure but.....waited waited and waited to meet him - met Nick and Johhny etc but no Baz  Waited whilst the scantily glad slag bags cosied up to the Dave Hart to get backstage (damn i wish I had breasts..) but I was not going to give up. managed to find my way around the venue to the tour bus....to find Baz was feeling a bit ill and was already on the bus - BOLLOCKS. Waited outside the bus with some other guys singing in the cold for 3 hours hoping we would get a chance to see him so I could get that elusive photo and autograph on my arm so i can get it tattooed above my ~Forever Wild~ forearm tat (same font/place as baz's YGW one)...met Nick and the rest of the band on route..again....all seemed lost...until Dereck. Dereck - in case baz reads this - you are a legend! Best roadie/tech ever. You furnished us with some of Baz' sandwichs/beers and then later, feeling sorry that we had waited all this time to see him in vain.....sorted us onto the guestlist and backstage list for Guns in Birmingham on the 17th! We took the risk and made the extra distance to Birmingham and waited nervously for the guestlist to come out..plleaasseee let us be on it.......YEP!!!!! THANK YOU DERECK! WORD! As we waited for the show we ventured to find the bus....again...found it..again..met Nick and Johhny.....again lol but no BAZ!!! FUCK!! Ahh Shows starting... Right at the side of the stage - Baz and Guns awesome again....but where were we meant to go to meet Baz...  Went outside to the bus...gone. So 11 years waiting, 3 shows, 1000 miles of driving and still no Baz.... So Baz...if you read this - When you come back next year to rock a tour for the new album - for the love of god put Zakk Zander down backstage so i can get the photo and autograph...cos I'd quite like to die happy lol! WELL DONE FOR ALL THE SHOWS - YOU CONTINUE TO BE MY IDOL AND INSPIRATION AS A PERFORMER. ROCK ON MUTHATRUKKA! ZZ |

Glad you enjoyed the gigs, Zakkzander. Shame you missed Baz but how cool that you got to meet Nick and Johnny and get on the guest/backstage list for Birmingham!  I think we were just really, really lucky to see Baz as he left to get on the Bus. We had a map of the town so we could find our way around and just headed to where we thought the exit would be on the off-chance, and still can't believe our luck! (I've never been one for cosying up to people to try and get backstage, just for the record LOL). We didn't keep him long, cos we knew he must be knackered after such a fantastic gig, and not having slept. Fx |

Sounds like you had a blast! Sorry you missed meeting Baz, no doubt he would have came out had he felt better.
I really enjoyed reading your review! Bet it also so sweeet to see Duff out there rockin!
