This weekend I was at a friends house and he showed me the new SR-magazine(#75) with a new interview with Sebastian( The interview with him is only available for those who have a subscription of the magazine for some reason) . Pretty interesting interview I must say. In it Sebastian says that he and Snake talked on the phone this past year about a SKID ROW box-set and a possible tour and that the connection came about right before Barbara Skydel(booking agent) passed away. Apparently, according to the article, she was the only one who had contact with all the members of SKID ROW and she wanted them to do a tour. In the interview Sebastian says that everybody was up for it except for 1 person....and now that Barabra is gone its unlikely its gonna happen. Dont know how valid this interview is but I felt I had to share it with u guys.

Interesting snippet of information! I'm afraid my opinion is that Sebastian doesn't really need the other guys, and they don't deserve to have a talent like his in their band! Of course, it would be nice for us to have a box-set, but I really like the band Sebastian has got NOW. I don't think it'd make any difference to me to see him play with the other guys. As far as I'm concerned, if he's happy playing shows with Nick, Johnny and co. - and he certainly seems to be - then I'm happy too! That said, it would be cool for old differences to be put aside, but sometimes these things just run too deep. Fx

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think this tour would be nice. Perhaps this is wrong. I like Sebastian's band, I like his shows with his solo band. But it would be nice in my humble opinion. Sebastian could stay with his solo band and play with them as well. He has a lot of great new songs for playing shows with his own band. Oh, I'm just insane. I know about it.

I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way as you, gattonero - it's not a bad idea as far as the fans are concerned (hell, the more we see of Baz the better!), but I won't hold my breath waiting for it. I would go to see them play all together, but only because it would mean I got to see Sebastian live again. I just don't think he needs Skid Row now, especially with the great line up he's got right now. They, on the other hand... Fx

There was a video youtube where Baz was asked if Skid Row would ever reunite in the DJ's life time & Baz said it was never closer then this summer & 1 guy did not want it & as much as we all may be pointing at Rachel keep in mind Scotti has also publicly claimed it would never happen. When you hit the wall scale the heights & take the fall, when nothing's all there is you've hit the "Skids" If it was going to happen ever June 11, 2011 would make a great date, 20 years since Slave to the grind debuted at #1 on the Mainstream charts. I would love a Box/Bach's set of rare songs Demos but "New" music is welcomed

But what about Sebastian? He does want reunion or not? Now I'm not sure about that again. we all may be pointing at Rachel keep in mind Scotti has also publicly claimed it would never happen. It was long time ago and now almost not true. IMHO If it was going to happen ever June 11, 2011 would make a great date, 20 years since Slave to the grind debuted at #1 on the Mainstream charts. That can be a very good idea.

I don't know... this sounds fake to me! I read some recent interviews where Baz says he last spoke with the guys from Skid Row over a decade ago. He said that he sees Skid Row just like a High School Photobook, you look at it, find it cool, and then put It back to the drawer.
He also commented via Twitter the fact that the former "new" Skid Row drummer, Phil Varone, was recently cover of a gay magazine... he says that the brand Skid Row is indeed destroyed and without any credibility after this, therefore, he would never do anything with those guys anymore....

Cover of a gay magazine? I saw Phil Varrone on both Sex Rehab and Strange Sex as a hetro sex addict. He says he is now rehabilitated.

No, it was Playgirl magazine that Phil Varone was posing.
From Blabbermouth:
Former SKID ROW drummer Phil Varone has responded to ex-SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach's claim that Varone's recent decision to pose nude for an upcoming issue of Playgirl magazine is "further proof that the name 'SKID ROW' has completely lost all credibility, cool, accuracy and is now devoid of all meaning in every way."
Varone, who was one of eight patients featured on the "Celebrity Rehab" spin-off series "Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew", told the New York Post, "I'm grateful and proud of my time in SKID ROW and sorry [Sebastian] feels that way." Playgirl representative Daniel Nardicio defended Varone: "This coming from a man [Bach] who preceded David Hasselhoff in 'Jekyll & Hyde' on Broadway? Now that's the epitome of uncool."
Varone is featured on the cover of the winter 2010 issue of Playgirl. The publication, which includes a 20-page spread on the drummer, is due to hit newsstands on December 15.
Varone joined SKID ROW in 2000 — about four years after Bach parted ways with the group.

And for me - it was not sound as fake. In spite of all what is said above. Actually in fact Phil Varone is former SKID ROW drummer. So, now has no relation to Skid Row. A little bit about what he thinks about his former bandmates: www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=135661My apologies to those who could not spoil the reputation of Skid Row that way. And that can I say about that Sebastian's twitt? I was upset then I saw that. Really upset. But I'm understand. Start to speak about reunion at a time when his album is about to happen? It's just stupid! If he says he would like to reunite Skid Row, how many people will support his album? In fact, a lot, I think. Because, as we heard, his new songs are very good. But, in any case, better that nobody even thought about reunion Of course, nobody likes what I said. I would not be surprised if I'll be banned.

Sorry, but I didn't see anywhere Sebastian speak about a reunion. People speak a lot on behalf of him, I mean... media bullshit! The press tend to twist another's comment and everything...like this Sweden Rock magazine... did Baz really say sth about a Skid Row box set release? This sounds strange to me, he never mentioned anything but his Blu Ray, new CD, etc.... we should try to tweet him and ask about the veracity of this article (I did it already) Sebastian himself seems to be happy with his carreer and all the Nick Sterling stuff ya know...
