Hello.
Ich hope this is the right category.
After all this years i feel the need to say "Thank you" to Sebastian Bach.
I'm 32 years old now, almost 33.
I started listening to metalbands like metallica, slayer, zodiac mindwarp, ozzy, megadeth and iron maiden.
They've all been great.
But the energy of Skid Row and especially Sebastian Bach was above all of'em.
There've been some hard years when girlfriends left me, when my boss did me wrong, when i crashed with my motorcycle, when i've been down on my luck.
Everything went wrong.
It was hard to believe in anything good.
But there has always been a damn powerful man i' wasn't able to forget.
Sebastain Bach !
I'm old and smart enough not to believe in "popstars".
But this one is special.
Charisma, gag, power, authencity, Metal !
I was working and my production driver was lashing me with increased regularity.
So whenever i had the chance i put my headphones in and Sebastian gave me the power to hold on.
I'm not kidding. He was my inspiration to hold on.
Bachs voice gave me power. Power to hold on. Power to hang on.
Sebastian Bach is positive energy to me since almost 20 years now.
Whenever i've been crying about a girl his music gave me hope.
Not only the lyrics, not only the music. It was the voice of Sebastian Bach who helped me throuh this. His voice can be sooo positive.
Meeting in the city park with my friends and a bad mood?
Ha! No way! Ghettoblaster + Bach = Good Mood.
My friends and me are all over 30 years old now.
But Bach is still a warranty for having fun. He's like a pill you throw in for feeling good. You can't help but bang head or clinc glasses.
There are so much bands i like. So much bands that help me dream. But there's only Bach that's awakening so much enthusiasm.
He's a phenomenon. He's one of a kind.
For "me", he's the one and only.
There are a LOT of rock stars out there. I like a lot of them. Great singers, great guitarists/bassists, great drummers...
But there is and AAAAAAAALWAYS will be ONLY ONE Sebastian Bach.
It's FOR SURE, he's SECOND TO NONE ! Period !
I've never been a fanboy for anything or anyone. I love myself. I'll always have to make it my own way.
But damn Sebastian Bach has been an inspiration !
Dude, you made my live a little bit easier. No joke !
Without knowing it, unintentionally, you've been there for me.
Just for a little bit...you formed me, my youth, and you'll form my future.
I'm not a DIE HARD fan. As i said i'm not a common "fan boy".
I'll have to do it my own way. But you'll be escorting me the next 20 years. I'm Sure.
