ok. folks, first off, since i know everyone wants to know, here's the set list since my memory is prob kinda off www.setlist.fm/setlist/sebastian-bach/2011/the-chance-poughkeepsie-ny-4bd0df76.html ...WHAT A GREAT TIME MUTHA TRUCKERS!!...deb n i drove up from whitestone queens ny, and got up to pough about 230pm-ish...never been to the chance before, so i followed mapquest directions to get me in the municipal parking lot (hang w/me here). deb stayed in the car, since we both rolled outta bed w/o showering cuz we wanted to just get up there and shower at the motel. i got outta the car to go up and get our "will call tix". walk past the open backstage door (cuz thats not cool to be rude) and went to the front/side door and walk into this small entrance way. looked to my right at the empty ticket booth (the size of a coat check), and decided, fuck it, pushed open the club door, walked in, and spotted dave hart (baz's road mgr), at the bar talking to the girl working about "they need ALOT of water, and how much per guy for drinks, etc...the normal stuff. kept my distance, so as not to intrude..just wanted to get my tix and go to the room and shower. i noticed when i walked in, 2 guys standing off to the side, and 1 of them walked up to the bar, between me and dave, to listen in. so i, not wanting to be intrusive, stepped back, and the othe guy walked up to me...it was fuckin nick!! being myself, i said.."dude, fuckin nick!! whats up?!" lol...we talked about the show at jones beach, and a bunch of other stuff...such a cool, sweet dude...i sincerely mean that ...the guys was waaaay cool! eventually, he went back to doing his soundcheck, and i noticed dave was done doing his thing. i walked up to check on the tix, and dave's face lit up cuz he recognized me from past show where i walked up and started bs-ing w/him (M3 and AC shows). he was such a cool guy...he asked me where we were staying, and he told me where they were, and told me to hang...knowing that we, me n deb, hadnt showered, i mentally passed on that, to myself, and proceeded to check on our tix. i was told it would be about an hour, so i went outside, called deb on my cell and, and told her to come inside...i of course had to come out and get her. as i got her, a car pulls up, and out comes bobby with a bag of food and a big cup from wendys...(go figure, i was starving). we talked for a bit, and he went inside the side stage door, and i brought deb inside for soundcheck. once inside again, nick came back from the stage, and i introduced her. we hung on the side, listening to sound check, and out came rob (who i talked to about of earth and other stuff) and then a bit later, johnny, who i also chatted with...let me just say, THANK YOU, cuz everyone i just mentioned were so damn cool, i can't do it justice...that said, of course, i didn't get to meet baz again. which was ok cuz it was towards the end of soundcheck, and i knew he was prob already done with that. it was just fun meeting the guys in such an inprobable of a scenario, that it was sooo cool. so, anyway, we went back about an hour plus later, got the tix, went back to our room, got ready, and proceeded to get my ass kicked by the bach-meister yet again!! front row, in front of johnny. i'm gonna post 2 youtube links that were filmed from behind me. it pains me to say, i'm the guy with the funky foo manchu, long dark hair amd the big schnoz (wtf?!?!), but god damn it, i was ROCKIN ?! deb's much shorter than me, with the blonde highlights...we were there getting our asses kicked by the one, THE ONLY...SEBASTIAN BACH!!!!! enjoy www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hu6C9LmZcok&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qi71TwQCvSM&feature=related i'm a little long winded, but that's my story...hahaha ..i must add, the new tunes, KICKED ASS!! and rob sitting in for i remember you was awesome...cameras they said, weren;t allowed, so i have known to post (I shouldve tried anyway, but it's worth about a grand, so i took them for their word, and didnt bring it cuz i didn't wanna have to check it)BAZ...thanks bro!!! -mark-
