www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=66551Skid Row Legend Shakes up Bulgarian Coast Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach (L) thrilled thousands of fans at a free concert in the Black Sea coast town of Kavarna. Photo by bulphoto.com Lifestyle: 16 July 2006, Sunday. Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach has thrilled thousands of fans at a free concert in the Black Sea coast town of Kavarna. His hits sounded off to the recently opened Cool House K'METAL dedicated to the town's popular rock-mayor, Tsonlko Tsonev. Born in Bahamas, and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, the singer legally changed his last name from "Bierk" to "Bach" so that it would resemble the great composer Johann Sebastian Bach's name. Bach was invited to join Skid Row in 1986 at the age of 18 when guitarist Dave Sabo heard him sing at famed rock photographer Mark Weiss's wedding. Fans heard hits of his new solo album, "Angel Down", as well as beloved pieces of his time when performing with Guns'n Roses and Metallica. .

Does anybody know what the writer meant when he said 'free concert'? I can not believe the entrance was free, like the tickets were free, or there were no tickets at all ?! Strange...
Maybe it is just a rumor?

Maybe it is just a rumor? i guess there's never a free concert where you live. sometimes we have free concerts in the park. maybe it was something like that. who knows. but free concerts do happen. michele

Seb, if you read this one never forget: YOU`RE THE BEST MAN! LOVE YOU! The concert was with free entrance, right! No tickets. The song was the best of Skid Row, some his new one, and two cover songs .

Sebastian Bach's Live/Kavarna 15.07.2006 - Track List : 1. Slave To The Grind 2. Big Guns 3. Here I Am 4. Stuck Inside 5. Piece Of Me 6. 18 And Life 7. Metal Head 8. The Threat 9. Drums solo 10. Blade 11. Guitar solo /Metal Mike/ 12. Monkey Business 13. Guitar solo /Johnny Chromatic/ 14. Little Wing 15. I Remember You / bass solo/Steve DiGiorgio 16. Take You Down Encore: 17. Youth Gone Wild 18. New song, don't know the title 19. Living After Midnight / Judas cover Great show, AMAZING how cool, giving and open Baz is. Didn't expect him to sing for less than 3 000 fans as if there were 30 000 people at the stadium - i mean so much energy and commitment....it was unbelievable. It is obvious he loves and enjoys what he does. The limited number of fans could be for various reasons I guess. On the one hand, this event was planned as a joint live of W.A.S.P. & Sebastian Bach, and that's the way tickets were sold. Then comes the news W.A.S.P. will not be performing (illness or smth) & organizers decide to offer S. Bach's Live for free, and let fans keep their tickets for the upcoming in September W.A.S.P. show. Free concert was decided - but - as any free thing - no money for advertising - so a lot of metal fans were not even aware Baz was coming! On the other hand, the little town where the show took place is remoted from the capital of the country. In this same very little town great rock bands are performing too often now - almost every week - so, at one point, all you can do is just choose what to skip and what to see, cause - you're like - "I can't be away from the office the whole f**cking summer to go to every concert" Of course, I personally, wouldn't miss Sebastian Bach for anything, after waiting to see him for 15 years!!! Anyway, Baz made an incredibale appearance which will be remembered for loooong time from his (not numerous, but true) fans. Especially the backstage and the night after we'll never forget !! Baz was so attentive, so kind, so considerate to his fans (well, female mainly ! These guys are not only excellent mucisians but also cool company for a night out !!!! I made pictures but they are not uploaded in the net so...don't know how to share them with u now

AWESOME AWESOME review! i'm so happy for you that after all these years you finally got to see him perform and meet him as well. it is true sebastian can perform for a small or big crowd of fans and it makes no difference b/c he does take each of his fans to heart and he loves what he does. hopefully you'll find a way to get your pics loaded online. thanks for the geat review and btw....welcome to the board. ;D
